Edit - I timed this video & went back & checked my best Dragy on the Allroad. Hornet - 6.47s Allroad - 5.1s & that's Dragy data. My Allroad doesn't even market itself as a perfomance vehicle either lol Dodge really should have done hetter with this powerplant. Our 2018 GT Sport hatchback is a 1.6t 7spd DCT with 201hp/ 195lbs torque & it 0-60s in 6s flat. Hatches & wagons are way more adequate for performance doesnt make sense why we hate them so much in the States My 2024 Audi Allroad is a 2.0T mild hybrid, has 261hp/ 273lbs torque & the 7spd DCT sTronic or whatever. When I use launch mode I get 0-60s in about 5s flat give or take 0.1 or so. I think my Allroad weighs in around 3800lbs its not light, but its also not a bloated, tall CUV. If people want performance & still practicality, these companies need to go back to wagons & hot hatches. Its ridiculous that the only wagon options in N America are from the luxury brands imo. I'm more than happy with my Audi dont get me wrong, but not everyone can afford a $62k wagon for their family hauler. Personally I dont think these Hornets are worth the $50k either like at all but if people want performance stop buying false hope in an CUV

Reminds me of my car. My audio system is down as I need to do a lot of cable repair in the hatch on the Amps and change the plastic shift lock mech to a steel one that I purchased. Body mods are very minimal. Crappy aftermarket projector black headlights with the internal projectors replaced with those of a Honda S2000, PHILIPS Xenon X-TremeVision Gen2 D2S bulbs, Denso ballasts, Morimoto Led fogs, LED tails are all I can remember for external changes. The interior had all lights replaced with LED lights, even dash and cluster bulbs were all desoldered and changed to LED. The Engine is the 5.7 hemi with Inertia Big valve Head which is ported and has proper pressed in valve seats(These engines are very know to drop valve seats and destroy engines), Inertia Spartan Plus Cam, some magnaflo clone exhaust from the mid pipes, 6.1 lifters, 6.1 header and mid pipe. Car is tuned and makes 376 HP to the wheels and 405 TQ. Those numbers are higher than stock SRT8 wheel HP from what I hear. I absolutely love the sound it makes and power is fun. If you see my video, I had the car built to pass California smog when I got it built, They have since made stupid changes which made it illegal to smog.......

It's quite funny to me, somehow Mazda makes the 3.3L inline 6 engine a little bigger than this but the power is only around 326 hp in the CX90 and 280 HP in the CX60, if this 3.0L is 300cc smaller than Mazda's inline 6 but the power can reach 420 HP in the SO and 510 hp in HO, of course applied to a large body and using a frame, don't forget the twin turbo

It's really quick and fast. I drove one and was very impressed compared to the Hemi I drive now. They just won't discount the price enough to make it a wise choice for me. I guess stelantis think everyone wants 700 to 1000 dollar car payments.

A big reason I got the ‘24 1500 was that sound of the hemi. Idgaf about how efficient a straight 6 gets or what tuning might do in the future. Nothing can replace that beautiful note making every drive so much better. 🇺🇸 🦅

The thing about these turbo V6 engines is that they’re under significant cylinder pressure to make the power they do so the longevity just isn’t there like an N.A. V8. You don’t ever really see many EcoBoost or other factory gas turbo truck engines at 250k+ going strong, but there are tons of naturally aspirated V8s at that mileage point making still great power. You also will never have the overall power potential that you do with the standard V8s. When you do basic bolt-ons on a Coyote, Hemi, or LT V8 based truck you get good power gains but then still have a whole lot more room to grow with forced induction if you want big power. With these turbo 4/6 cylinder engines you really can’t get all that much more out of them reliably. A tune and some Bolt ons will pickup ~100 maybe even 150 HP if you go e85, but that’s about all she wrote at that point. Sure you can do modified turbos and pickup a little more but you’re not going to double the power output like you would by adding forced induction to a V8 truck.
