I take it all back; all the negative things that I said in my last video about the lack of performance delivered by my Phatmoto Rover II and blaming it on its EPA Compliance qualities....not.....it was because I wasn't told about "the secret golden rule of the carburetor"; OFF is really ON and its corollary ON is Choke OFF." That's where it should be when you are ready to ride.

That isn't the choke. That is the fuel cut off valve.

Once you fiddle with it, everything adjusted etc... It's great, lots of fun. I figured the fiddling part was the hobby lol. I'm on an issue of maybe changing how the pedals attach. I have to carry an Allen wrench with me. 👍👍

I do the same thing, my left side pedal has been known to come loose while out on a ride. I think I have finally licked that problem when I slipped a large ring spanner over the key and pushed so hard that I feared the screw would break....fingers crossed.

@@DavidCrocker-Davideo not a bad idea... I've looked at videos that use a shim... Haven't tried yet.

@@DavidCrocker-Davideo doesn't it seem that it should be a counterclockwise screw? Design flaw for sure.

Yes Samuel never thought about it but you are right, any movement would tend to loosen the screw. After doing my first roadway bike lane run with some phantom pedaling, I am thinking about a way to introduce more ratios in the pedal drive, like 3 drive sprocket sizes, with a changer and chain tension er like the derailleur gear bikes.
