Hi everyone! During this season of #gradschool application notifications, I thought I would share my ~long~ journey to being accepted into a PhD program-from applying to clinical psychology programs in 2013 to being a third year PhD student in epidemiology today.

I hope to start applying next year at the age of 34 for a clinical psychology phd program. This was definitely insightful and inspiring.

There are other types of doctorate degrees you can apply to, like doctor of psychology, for more focused research rather than theoretical and general research.

Hello, I am an MPH student in Global Health at UW. I am also applying for a PhD in Epi at UW, but got waitlisted in Jan. I am feeling very anxious about it.
