I know there’s a ton of reviews on this bag but I wanted to go a little more in-depth and show you what fits, give you close ups if the bags, and explain my concerns/potential issues I may see coming.

I'm the owner of 2 florentine satchels in luggage and red, but I do also own other florentine items in different styles, like the dome satchel in black and the Chelsea in chestnut along with matching wallets in black, red, chestnut and luggage florentine. I too love the smell of any type of leather good, but the Italian florentine leather is more invigorating in its leather smell. The florentine leather is so beautiful and supple, but it does have tremendous weight to them. Congrats on your purchases and enjoy the florentine leather!

Me entire office snd hallway smelled like leather that day and even now with the bag in it’s dust bag it still smells like leather in my closet. Forever grateful to be able to carry them! Thanks for watching!!

Too too gorgeous!! I was waiting for the problem to arise of which to keep, lol, that's the only problem I ever run into with Florentine Dooney and Bourke bags. Soooo happy you are keeping both. You may regretted sending back .It was a great find to find one gently used. These beauties are the light of my closet. Over the years I have collected the same ones in different colors and they are timeless pieces. They will outlive us and yes they get more gorgeous with age. You did an amazing review. Glad you keeping both, they are beautiful! I recently was looking to this brand, but couldn’t make up my mind on getting one. Than just last week I saw the size mini in natural at Marshalls and I couldn’t believe it! Once I realized it was a real Dooney and Bourke Florentine satchel I bought it and it’s now in my closet. Every time I walk into my closet I can smell the leather from the Florentine satchel and it it’s unlike any other leather bag I own! I love it! Tempted to get another one 😬😅

Love the natural color in the satchel. I had a Dooney and Bourke Florentine shoulder bag and it was beautiful. Have been looking at the crossbody option over the last few years and more recently the Hattie bucket bag. The only thing is the red interior can transfer if you have lighter color accessories. Hope you have a great one !!

The Hattie is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve read in the review section of the DB website that the strap hook tends to pop off a lot and the bar ends up falling to the ground. That’s why I’m a bit hesitant. Great tip on the interior - thank you!!

BEAUTIFUL bags!! I have loved the Dooney bags since I was a teenager (90’s). I love the Dooney and Bourke Florentine line. I have a couple of them myself and the quality surpasses any of the luxury brand bags I own. I have now gone back to buying only Dooney and Bourke bags again.

Absolutely gorgeous bags. This florentine satchel has been on my list for months. I'm hoping I can buy 1 soon. The Dooney and Bourke outlet has it for 40% off and sometimes they have even better deals😁

Some of the KZfaq reviews I saw mentioned they got great deals at outlets. I got mine on sale too so there’s definitely a good chance you can get one at a great price!

I got my two colors I had my eye on. Chestnut & brown tmoro. My next bag is black in the small size. I did have a mini but it was too small for me. This size is perfect! Your bags are gorgeous! That black one is stunning! ❤

One of my favorite bags. Beautiful! I had this in the black small. I ended up gifting it to my SIL as it was a bit too heavy for me and it was just sitting in my closet. I have considered re-purchasing in natural in either micro or nano because of the weight. Enjoy!

I did! Got it for $149 on ilovedooney! My first choice would have been the natural (natural wasn't included at this price) but i think i'll be quite happy with the bordeaux. Somehow i have cycled back to dooney and florentine. It's so beautiful and such high quality. 😍

It’s the regular size. On the D&B website, it’s simply called The Florentine Satchel (with no size reference).

I have a major question about the black bag from Dooney vs. the Natural bag from PM/PoshMark. . . The bag from PM has leather piping "overlapping" on the bottom siding of the bag. . . Because you did not show the bottom of the Dooney Black bag ~ Does the black bag have the SAME leather piping OVERLAP from PM??? I want to make sure I'm purchasing AUTHENTIC merchandise from PM. . . Please & Thank you!

Dooney and Burk makes the best bags the quality of their bags are top notch and very sturdy living in NYC if a thief tries to snatch my bag guarantee my arm will be with it Lol

I just got my satchel and it's gorgeous and the leather smells great. However, I was wondering how others find the stitching. My interior logo stitching is, to me, sloppy. And the leather lining my larger interior pocket wasn't cut clean. The materials used are top notch, but it anyone else having some issues with the aesthetics of their stitching?
