Hello hello! Today I am SO excited to finally be sharing this video. I felt that it was really important for me to share this video because I know so many people are afraid of having a c-section, however I found my experience really empowering. I am planning another video to talk about c-section recovery. We all know that healthy mom and baby is what matters most, and by keeping that as my main goal through my birth experience I was able to feel comfortable and confident in my care team. Each the NICU, a failed induction, and a c section can sound scary on their own, and scarier still all together. While the time that my daughter was in the NICU was the hardest thing I have every been through, she is here, healthy, and thriving. I am happy to answer almost any question you may have because I think as women we all benefit from sharing our labor and delivery stories. So, this is my birth story, complete with the NICU, a failed induction, and a c section! Every birth is beautiful, empowering and valid. xoxo
