When I nursed my daughter, it was when the milk let down it just sprayed out so fast she just couldn't drink that fast and choked her and made her upset. I had to express a little out until it stopped spraying out and then she could drink comfortably. I absolutely loved nursing my babies and the closeness we had. Precious memories! ❤️ It goes by so fast. Hang in there, you got this!! Love your ideas for the coffee house.

Hi guys!!!! I have an idea, how about making a mural of all the farms you use in Panama? that way everyone can see the people involved in making their coffee. Kaylee you look wonderful , My niece just had her baby 3 wks ago and she was struggling too. It's good you realize how you are feeling and are taking steps to take care of you! God Bless you all.

Agree 100% w regards to using photos of farms where its grown, the farmers, the process, staff and maybe one of everyone together ❤️ ❤️ customers love those types of things, I personally love seing history of a place and learning a lil more about it while visiting a place. Kaylee you're doing wonderful everything you're going thru is completely normal just be patient w yourself and in no time your both figure it out, just a lil learning curve. Lots of love sent.

When you put a baby down keep contact with your hand on their cheek till they settle down. It worked for me everytime.

I’m so glad that you are aware of your mental health issues and are working on it to feel better not only for you but for your baby and husband! I lost my only daughter due to a PTSD, consequences of been 24 years in the military! I tried very hard to help her out, she went to therapy but it didn’t worked and she gave up! It’s been 4 years and I still cry for her! Please remember my daughter and continue what you’re doing and never give up! Blessings!

@NellyLugo, I am so sorry for your loss.. my heart goes out to you. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for decades.(I am in my 60's) Unless someone has been through it they will not understand. It is so important we talk about it and educate others. Thoughts and prayers to you....

I have a suggestion re: your interior design journey. Imagine being the customer and the barista and the friends that are going to be working there roasting/making deliveries… what would be the IDEAL situation for each of them? Then overlay all those plans side by side/on top of one another. It might help you come up with a great flow to your place for all concerned. As for design details, go through a magazine and just clip ANYTHING that you like- a shape, a texture, a colour, a picture of a room… anything and everything- just collect it. When you are ready to make more design choices - when you spread out all the pictures you will see the core of what you love… maybe it’ll be a lot of wood, maybe it’s a certain colour keeps popping up, maybe it’s a lot of framed pictures… whatever it is! I did this with my former home renovation… it worked out beautifully.

I agree about design. I’ve done that too. What I thought I didn’t want was the exact thing I did want. And I saw that in what I was attracted to in decorating magazines.

Kaylee it is wonderful to hear you sing, what a voice Love! You are doing such a great job as a new mom, girl you really do have it together. It’s a challenge devoting so much time to a new baby and yes we all feel we loose ourselves in all the care giving required. Know it’s a short time and before you know it they are crawling and walking and forming an opinion. So taking moments to get on the mat, meditate, and nourish yourself is so very important. Reach out if you feel you need to, so many don’t and your mental health is as important as your baby. Much love and hugs, Kelli the midwife in Florida.

Another trick for transitioning Sadie from carrier to bed is to hold her like Jordan did, but place that little baby bed on a slightly lower surface and as you lower her down to the bed, keep your chest/body close to her so she still feels the warmth and smell. Then either leave something that smells like Kaylee wrapped up with her, like a shirt, or maybe Jordan's shirt. Typically the mom's smell seems to do best. I used this trick with my kid and it helped get some of that sleeping time up where you're free to handle life's other stuff. Hope this helps you guys.

This advice is golden! Also try to lay her down over her side on not directly on the back. Kind of a rolling Motion. It’s more physiological to transfer the baby in diagonals and it’s amazingly beneficial for their motoric development! You are amazing parents keep up all of the good work!

I paused 7 mins in to tell you that you brought tears to my eyes today girl!!! Your voice is just so pure and that is one of my all-time favorite songs!!! Not only that, but I've struggled with pretty severe depression and anxiety issues my entire adult life and I can sooo relate to you there!! I have an 11-year-old son and I regret not doing a better job of taking care of ME when he was little bitty. Because I know it affected me as a mom and I only ever want to give him the best life possible!! I am proud to say I'm doing much better now than I used too. Some days are still a struggle but I'm much more aware now than I used to be of my triggers and how to bring myself out of a "slump". So I'll end by saying, Kaylee you're doing such an amazing job and you are so inspirational to so many of us!! Sending lots of love and light yalls way!! I hope yall have a very Merry Christmas and safe travels!!!!

The same thing happened to me with breastfeeding. Try reclining with Sadie on top of you so the milk doesn’t run down her throat. Worked for us beautifully. And expressing a little beforehand as well

This is a great position to slow the flow. It can also encourage her to drink with her head tilted back, like drinking from a bottle. You are doing great no matter what!

When I was breastfeeding, that happened to me as well. Don’t get discouraged. What I kept saying to myself was “I was blessed that my body can produce so much milk” I had a friend that struggled to get milk and in the end she stopped breastfeeding and that made her feel like a failure. Your blessed.

Kaylee your an absolute inspiration. Having given birth in September, I was in the sea until the baby came but haven't gotten in since. But I might have to have a Christmas day dip.. in Ireland so it is cooollllldddd!!! You're doing amazing. My breastfeeding journey has been so similar and I'm a few weeks ahead of you. It gets easier I promise! But tis challenging for sure.

Kaylee has such a beautiful voice and I absolutely love that song. I think Sadie is a Daddy's girl. She seems so much happier and content since Daddy is back. She also appears to be an outdoor girl, which is perfect for your lifestyle. My youngest granddaughter is the same way and would stop crying as soon as we took her outside. She is still outdoorsy. I’ve lived in Florida all my life..never seen snow. It’s currently 64 and I’m cold. Seeing her sitting in freezing water and running around barefoot is crazy to me. Hopefully see won’t get sick.🥶

You don't get sick from the REAL cold. You might get sick from sitting by a draft or an A/C but never from running through the snow naked or getting in an outside cold plunge. The only reason the flu season is in the winter is because people with low immunity sit inside in front of the heater...HEAT is where germs are bred. Caching a cold from the REAL cold... that's a myth🤗.

@@zariballard actually smarty pants, viruses like the flu and colds are more stable in cold, dry conditions and stay in the air longer during winter. Vitamin D plays a major role in the effectiveness of the immune system thus the deprivation of sun makes people more susceptible to illness. Stop spreading stupid information.

When you have a new baby it's hard to find the time for self care so sometimes you just have to let that go for a time until the baby doesn't need as much care and you can sleep through the night again. I think motherhood is really about just getting through things in the best way you can. With Jordan with you it will be easier for you to find time for self care. My favorite thing is the change of seasons and I love the snow!

You both are wonderful with Sadie. I cried listening to Kaylee sing Hallelujah. I reflected on my postpartum journey as you were talking about yours. I came through self-diagnosed PTSD from delivery. I cried a lot for a long time. God bless you for focusing on selfcare. Mothers need that and don't take it. Commit to it in your calendar like meetings. You will be better for it! Kaylee, you are amazing(you all are). It makes me sad that you struggle with depression but know that it's a state of mind, not a medical condition. You have all the tools to stay ahead of this. Take a minute every single day to count your many blessings and thank God for them. Say them out loud. And eat lots of yellow and orange fruits, the color of sunshine, healer of depression. The cabin is amazing, the snow looks beautiful and your voice made me cry. God bless you

Watching you guys and your little one has been especially fun for me as your daughter is just a few days older then my baby daughters own baby. I love seeing your Sadie and our Maeve looking alike, doing the same things, having the same types of issues with sleeping and fussy evenings but also the sweet smiles and beginning to really notice those around her. I see the face of our little one enraptured with her mamas face and wonder is Sadie doing that too. Thank you so much for sharing this precious time in your lives with us. You can express a little bit before you breast feed. It will help a bit, also, some breathing exercises for yourself even if she is crying for a moment, you calm space is here calm space. You are doing so good, and I am so happy, that you have allowed us on your journey with you. I wish you so much joy. This was a wonderful video.

Beautiful voice! Praise God for the life He is providing for you! When our youngest (our daughter) had fussy times like that, I would just put her in the car seat and drive for a few minutes and she was out like a light. Sometimes, I think they just want a change of venue like we all do... :)

Wow! Very nice video! 2 months ago I had to submerse myself in a so cold Atlantic Ocean on the East Coast, and on a very cold day. That was the best thing I did for the first time ever. It helped me to heal my emotional pain, w courage, and cleared my thoughts. So, congratulations on doing something to feel better.

Sadie wants to be warm and snuggled as that makes for a contented baby,as remember every 6weeks they go through a growth spurt and most importantly STOP thinking your body is not performing for Sadie,you've plenty of milk so try expressing a bit first so the pressure is released, then she's be more comfortable and it might not gush down her throat. Your doing great and each baby is different so don't be hard on yourself, for one mummy to another,send blessing xxxxx

Omgosh! Sadie's face when her Daddy took 1 step outside! Along with your fast flowing milk, she took in too much air and it hurts her tummy. You do you to get your head back where you want it. As long as youre remembering to monitor yourself, you'll know you're on the right track. It's when you stop caring... *** Be careful not to get frostbite! Don't put your frozen digits in hot water - tepid! Other than that - woohoo! ❄🥰❄🥰❄🥰❄

i would recommend to build the layout of the shop in sims and then decorate it the way u like it, would be easier to visualize it that way and cost maybe 20$ There was actually a couple who did this when they start building their own house and showed it to the architect.

You have the voice of an Angel....Your singing is so Beautiful....My son used to fuss all the time and I nursed him as well...I learned, like you that if I put him in the car seat and drove around for a little while he would go right to sleep!! Milk production has it's own way, please don't stress, your body is not a machine you can't control all of it's functions! I love you guys and Love the Positive attitude you have no matter what happens...We need you so much right now and will always be with you!! P.S. I inherited Anxiety/Depression and have work with it my whole life....I have managed to control it and you are doing a good job as well...Love you Guys!!

I love seeing you “Wim Hoffin’ it” so mentally, physically, and spiritually cleansing! You are reminding me to take care of myself!! My twins are 4 months old and I completely forgot I was human! Breastfeeding two babies, I promise you it gets easier!! You are doing amazing!! Also, I love to hear you sing, I am a terrible singer but I sing all day long with the babies, especially when they cry because I feel like singing is an emotion when I get frustrated I sing then it takes over the feeling of frustration. The two of you are doing amazing!!! Sending love and prayers your way!! 😘
