Consider getting Sadie comfortable wearing sun hats from an early age! Her fresh baby skin and eyes need protection even on overcast days! Congrats to the Lola’s farm fam. Glad you are all back together again! 🌻🌱🌞

@@kimconley3782 Studies have shown that newborns have the ability to establish and self regulate body temperature within the first hours of birth and Sadie is already past what is considered newborn stage. That being said, of course she still requires adequate protection from the elements.

When my 11-year-old daughter was a baby, we talked to her ALL OF THE TIME! I would take walks with her in her stroller or wear her as you do and I would always talk to her about what I was doing. We taught her baby sign as well. Now as a tween, she never stops talking!!! :) Have fun!

I remember when my daughter was really young. I would take her to the grocery store and tell her what everything was - this is a can of soup, this is broccoli, these are carrots, etc. She was always ahead of her contemporaries in school for vocabulary! People would look at me very strangely, but I think it paid off!

Great seeing you all back together. I was Wondering if your indigenous friends would be back. But I’m glad to see Enrique and Eberto. Not sure if I have their name spelled right. I know you gifted one of them money to go to school. Wondering if they have started. That would Exciting to see how much more they grow with an education. Both seem like they’re very skilled and pick up everything else very quickly. They both seem very eager to learn and hard workers! I love that you’re calling Kake uncle Poo Poo! Lucky little Ms. Sadie. I grew up in a similar fashion (I was country when country wasn't cool). Lived off grid, no electricity, with an outhouse, rain cachements (my favorite because my siblings and I got to take a dunk in the rain barrels). We lived off the land gardens and animals. She has the fortune of having two insightful parents raising her with a village of self sustainers. There's just something different (better) about children who grow up this way, more responsible. Thank you for being amazing parents and raising the next generation of planet lovers. Respect and love 💕

suggestion: have a plan in place for an emergency evacuation for your animals. You mentioned the volcano, but if there was an emergency you would need a trailer that can hold all of your animals. I watched an episode of Homestead Rescue and they did a drill to evacuate the animals from the California fires. Initially not prepared but eventually created a viable plan on how to gather all their animals in case it was needed.
@EJLily686
@EJLily686 2 жыл бұрын
@@jgoo4572 might depend on how far they are from the volcano and the lava path, but that would be the big what if. Doesn't have to be the volcano. Any emergency plan best practice would include a plan for the animals.

There is nothing better except for showing Sadie her first rainbow 🌈. Kaylee , u nursing 👨‍🍼 on the front porch sipping ur coffee ☕️ watching the gorgeous view. And then ur angelic voice soothing Sadie as she cooed with u!!! Y’all all seem so much more laid back and calm than when I had 3 girls under 6. Seems like forever ago. Great 😊 job with the Spanish vowel dance 💃. She is a sponge 🧽 taking it ALL in! I’ve heard the baby sign language 🤟 for “more” and other such words important to communicate with Sadie thru certain signs before she begins to talk. Unfortunately, I didn’t do. But have seen and it’s AHMAZING! Uncle Roddie and Uncle Pooh?!?! And Ellyanna are so loving 🥰 with Sadie too! Makes my heart ♥️ so happy 😁 for you all. AND JORDAN, I love your hair!!! You should do the bottom of the garden bed filled with branches and leaves and just leave about 5-6” above the layer of hay placed over the wood.. you don’t need all that dirt.. roots only go down a few inches. Plant the garden in the dirt on top and as the wood breaks down under the flowers it produces fertilizer under the dirt.

Hey guys, is really nice to see all of you together in the farm. About the shower, in my mind was never a good idea to have it outside, since you mention the cold, the rain, the extreme wind. Maybe make a small proyect to do some sort of enclosement, so you can use it even in the daytime. A shower is amazing after so much physical labour and it should be a time to relax and enjoy, not something you loathe.

Even building a windbreak enclosure around it with a roof would be better I think.

Good to see y'all back on Lola's farm with big smiles on your faces. You are both such good parents, it warms my heart to see it. You have a lot of renovating to do, but I know you'll figure it out. Happy Birthday, Jordan. Thirty is a great age to be. Take care you all and see you next time.

The progress on the greenhouse is brilliant, good job lugging the dirt up the hill. That flower retaining wall bit ya got going is awesome 👌. Looking forward to some more building too. Just love how it's so pretty & green & your morning coffee view is too die for, magnificent 😍

I follow you from Germany and started during Corona lockdown looking at camper vans out of interest because I was amazed how compact everything was built. My sister also has one:) Somehow I watched your videos and now I frequently follow you and honestly what hard young people you are. You are always laughing and it is a joy to watch. Thank you xx

Love getting my Saturday fix of seeing the crew and now little Sadie girl! A great way to start the day! Looking forward to the day I get to visit the farm after I get settled in Panama in March! I'll be bringing a special treat with it will be yummy! I'll have to experiment on baking as not sure how it will bake with the altitude! Have a great week!
