The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.
Thank you so much for following along on this journey. Your love and support help me so much.

I am a hospice nurse n was also an Er\trauma nurse. I couldn't agree with you more!! Cancer is def up there as one of the cruelest diseases. ALS..parkinson's n dementia are a few others that come to mind as the cruelest but unfortunately there are more. I wish there weren't. Life is so unfair.😢

Im so sad for this family. Kyles video popped up randomly the other day out of nowhere n i clicked n watched. I was immediately in tears without knowing a single detail about anything. I wanted to know more about her story so i have been watching her videos. She was such a sweet brave young woman. Her voice is so soothing I actually listen to her (and kyles) longer videos when im going to sleep. Shes like an angel that calms my anxiety. I know that sounds strange but I hope her family knows that shes helping ppl n her spirit is living on. Rest in peace lovely 💞🙏

They’re not stretch marks, they are tiger stripes, signifying your battle. Down the road, when cancer is a faint memory, you have your stripes to remind you of the battle you fought and won. You’re beautiful, don’t ever doubt that.❤️

I wonder if you have any idea at how great you make people feel--you are so real and accepting and make us realize that we are okay the way we are. You are beyond beautiful inside and out, and the way you care for other living beings is so refreshing! When did you become vegan and have you always had a close relationship with animals? On your instagram page, I saw you adopted a 13 year old dog (Pups) who recently passed away. You and your family gave him four loving years--most would probably not consider an older dog--but you are all heart!!! When I was 11 years old, I would no longer eat meat when I saw a man holding a turkey by the neck saying it was going to be Thanksgiving dinner. That was it for me. My parents were soooooo mad at me and back then (I'm 60 years old now.) there wasn't vegan/vegetarian friendly markets--I practically lived off of peanut butter!! :). Anyhow, I can't bear to see animals suffer--they have no voice. My daughters are vegan and one is a loving veterinarian--makes me so happy! Didn't mean to go on such a tangent, but I love how caring and loving you are toward all living beings!!! You take care, and thank you so much for always keeping us informed on your journey!!!!

Her positive attitude through this I believe extended her life but not quality of life. Suzanne Somers refused chemo and O have decided that should I get cancer I will also refuse chemo. Prayers for Kyle to have the peace that passes all understanding. And peace for the rest of family & friends.

I was like you, always slim, hard to put on weight, lost the baby weight easily. But oh boy, was I not prepared for Prednisone!! I ate a ton of food, went up 2 dress sizes, and had the moon face too. I tapered 1-2mg at a time due to issues like you, and yes, I do recall having lockjaw too. All very normal, but no less frustrating! You're doing great. Wishing you the very very best and loving your positive attitude ❤️

Curious how long it took you to taper off completely. I have been on prednisone for five years, have tried several times to taper down, and am currently down to 10 mg (from 60). I feel much better at the lower dose, but the weight isn't falling off or anything like that.

I gained 40lbs on Prednisone for an auto immune disease.....and I was already "fluffy". It was hard to look in the mirror, and I was constantly angry. I lost 60lbs easily once I was off. It's been so long, and I'm so old that I now proudly flaunt the victory stripes on my thighs and arms. May you tell a younger someone a similar victory story when you're old. Joey Fatone would be lucky to look like you ❤

I've been off and on Prednisone over the years for organ issues due to overlapping auto immune illnesses. BUT, as in your case, only to save my life. My opinion is, only then is it acceptable longer term, due to so many extremely serious side effects. Love to you and yours👍🥰🙏

Jenny I could relate to some of what you were saying about Prednisone. When I was first hit with multiple sclerosis MS I wasn't able to walk and ended up in a wheelchair. I had to find a neurologist and he put me on Prednisone and after being on it a couple of weeks I could walk!! Yes I gained weight even though I wasn't on it long but I did have some of the side effects like the jaw issues!! Fortunately I got the boost of energy not the opposite. I also related to you talking about your body fighting against itself. That is something I have to deal with everyday since with MS the disease is basically the immune system attacks and the protective coating around the nerves gets attacked and it damages nerves. Sorry for my going on and on. I just wanted to let you know that I relate in some ways. I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers 🙏.

I've been following you for awhile now, and I have to tell you again how I'm in awe of you. I've always been a big cry-baby when I don't feel well, but once I met you through your videos I learned what true strength is. I'm sorry that you're going through the side effects of prednisone. I have a friend who is living with cancer, and she has been going through a lot of what you are experiencing. You are truly beautiful. I'm praying daily for you both. You are a blessing.❤️

This is so awesome! It will help so many people. Some of the side effects for Steriods are so hard to deal with! Thank you for always thinking about others. Sharing this will help others for many years to come! Sometimes it’s easier to “deal” with things when you know others have had similar experiences 🥰
