Trying to take it a little easier today. I've been out in this heat a little already today. Need to get bales picked up off the field. Might wait until the sun goes down to get that job done.

That lil tractor is slick 👍 thanks for sharing. I like seeing the bailer gobble up grass. I have not seen much about the BCS units. I’ll have to do some research.

EarthtoolsKy has a lot of videos on repairs of all types. Also a lot of videos of other equipment attachments. Dailey's Farm & Walk-Behind Tractors also has several demonstration videos on equipment. I bought my equipment from Richard Dailey.

We have an old International square baler but don’t know if it works. We gave it to Jesse who does our land. Just waiting for him to pick it up. The land always looks so good once it’s bailed! Stay cool Bryan! ❤️

Some hard days work of mowing and baling, must feel good to see all the finished bales when you’re done. Sweat has no cooling effect in humid weather 🥵 be careful! 👍😊 🌾🌱🌾🌱🌾🌱🌾

That's for sure. I will appreciate the hard days work much more when I have the bales picked up off the field and put away in storage from the elements.

well I hear you talking about this machine in you pheasant back mushroom video and figured surely you had a video on it, and here it is. That is such a cool implement I had no idea they made small balers like that and the rake was cool too. What do you cut with a sickle bar mower attachment? thanks for sharing with us Bryan. cheers, John in TN
@bryansloesshillshomestead45234 жыл бұрын
Yes I have a sickle bar mower for the tractor. I am thinking about getting a disc mower for it. Not sure if I really am wanting to spend the money or not. I will still do a video on the equipment. Giving more information on each piece. Thanks for stopping by.

How heavy do those little round bales come out? I've gotten square bales from 30-65# in the past so i know moisture has a lot to do with it
@bryansloesshillshomestead45235 күн бұрын
I have baled close to a 60lb bale before. But on most cases they are around 40-45 lbs. It's hard on the baler packing the grass or hay in to get 60lb.

What's your fuel usage? I've seen those advertised at 60-100 bales an hour, but never bales per gallon in a nice flat field. Prices of fuel fluctuates so prices don't matter as much.
@bryansloesshillshomestead45233 жыл бұрын
I have mowed, raked, and baled a flat field that yield 90 bales and used about three gallons of gas. It all depends on the terrain and what gear you are running the tractor in. Each field is different. The lower the gear the more fuel you use.
@NuffinEdited4 жыл бұрын
Love that baler,my question is just how safe is that side of the road hay? People toss out cans and plastic/glass bottles. Do you do a walk around of the roadside hay first?
@bryansloesshillshomestead45234 жыл бұрын
If the county mows the grass, I usually see any cans or bottles that may be lying in the row of grass that I am baling. I just stop and pick them out and continue on. If I mow the ditch as I am going to be doing today. If a come across anything as I am moving, raking, or Baling I just stop then and discard it. For the most part the ditches are clean. The most I ever come across is a plastic bottle or two. Maybe a beer or pop can once in a while.
