Thats what i been saying there needs to be class action lawsuit its outrages 3$ trips 20+ minutes. Multiple stops for low fares plus traffic they need to be sued asap but not for millions for couple billion so the class action lawsuit can get the drivers money.

I'm here in South Bend at the airport. So I'm using the rider app. And it's charging $58 to 70 to go 17mins. But, the driver app doesn't show any surge at all. And I got paid $6.78 for this same trip. FUCK UBER

I have actually been doing that. I have come to find coincidentally is that the passengers using Lyft are most generally a little bit better people to deal with. at least an OKC very rarely do show up and they tell you hold on be right out because they’re busy hitting the Doobie before they get in your car and stink the shit out of it for you.

This morning, I dropped a passenger off at the airport in Denver. Thirty minutes later, I received a call from said passenger, "I left my bag in your backseat-please return it to me." Deadhead twenty-five miles to the airport, I returned her property. She was very grateful and wanted to reward me handsomely, but lyft has a twenty-five dollar limit on tipping [B.S]! This is Outrageous!!!

Im really happy for the drivers in Minnesota. We need a movement across america and abroad. The greed has to stop. Uber used to be a great way to earn 😥 I even was happy to drive $1 per mile. Now we're nowhere near that

Yes I have documentation of how Lyft has stolen rides and proper fares from me and when I request to speak with a supervisor in support, I am always told (after a 2hr wait) to check my emails for a supervisor correspondence but it is never there.

I'M A UBER driver. Pay is extremilly LOW (5$/h), in some faires I started requesting mandatory TIPS, otherwise I cancel rides! I'm no one's SLAVE. And will not work for FREE. ALL drivers should do the same. It's working for me.

If this is what they are doing, there are already laws against it written in the federal DOT guidelines because you’re an owner operator. The company you are least onto has to disclose the rate that they are charging the customer. All you have to do is have the burden app proof that they are not showing you the rate and take them to court. You probably would not even need an attorney to do it just simply study previous case laws before you go into court.

I drove Uber today for 14 hours. Made less than 300. Put like 400 miles on the car. It’s an easy job that’s supposed to be used like supplemental income. The problem is it’s not transparent. I have an alternative idea for an app that can compete with them or even make them obsolete. If anyone has a background in software engineering please let me know if you’d be interested in at least listening to my idea.

Oh also I forgot to write that they cap your earnings. Using only Uber x and Uber share, you will not make more than 300$ per day outside of California or maybe big cities like New York City or Chicago. Also, surge prices are fake. The trick is maximizing rides per hour to increase hourly rate. Well let me tell you I did this for 3 days straight, and ran the numbers. They will not, I repeat they will not under any circumstances provide you with more than 3 rides per hour. That includes wait times. Also if you look at your total miles driven, they don’t calculate the distance for you to get to your passenger. For example, if your passenger is 10 minutes away, on your trip log it will show the miles that you drove them after you picked them up and not during the time it took you to actually arrive at their location. They also miscalculate driving time, total miles driven, and I’m fairly confident that they steal tips. Like I said it’s an easy side hustle, but if you’re doing this full time for a living it is not viable.
