Injuries suffered in a MX crash pre TT makes Conor's 2022 performance even more incredible. Marshalled at Ramsey TT 2022 and Everyone from Marshalls to spectators were willing you on. See you in TT 2023 and the best of luck to you 💪

You just can't help but like this fella. That crash at the veranda was, and is, the single most shocking crash I've ever seen, and to not just to get back to riding competitively after that but to not lose the desire to ride is nothing short of astonishing. ALWAYS humble, Conor Cummins is just an epic dude who I wish several TT wins for.

Connor so deserves a Senior win! After two near career ending crashes and now getting close to Hicky's and Deano's speeds is testament to how truly a talented rider he is!!

How hard is it right now, for any of the top boys on top machines to get that first win under their belts! Conor has & has had all the things lined up at the right moments that he needs to get on that top step, but look at how perfect things have to be to get it done! Look at the calibre of the top boys with multiple wins & then the chasing pack & now the new chasing pack coming through. Its unbelievably tough to be that top person with everything ive said... Oh yeah, then you've got to ride 37.7 mile laps x 6. Come on Conor!! Not many more deserving competitors to get the luck all lined up all at the same time! Cheers guys. Loving the build up ❤🚀🌡

With injuries comes litigation. Agreements to limit liability for injury are strongly disfavored by courts. Even well-drafted releases and waivers can be invalidated as contrary to public policy. The Supreme Court rejected the traditional approach in an opinion which should certainly trouble organizers of sport activities. The court concluded that the owner was in a superior bargaining position because the plaintiff had "no meaningful alternative to defendant's take-it-or-leave-it terms” The court relied heavily on the company's duty of reasonable care "to avoid creating risks of harm to its business invitees”. Perversely, this division essentially immunizes the biggest risk-takers from the release of liability contained in the release agreement they are forced to sign. High rates of participation helped the court invalidate the agreement. The release of liability violates public policy. In essence, the court found it inequitable for the company to invite large numbers of people to a hazard it created, and then disclaim any liability for resulting injuries. Lawsuits to come.
