Sweet girl, let me tell you something about myself. I am 44 yrs old. I have been over weight simce i was 7-8 yrs old. I hate looking at pictures myself back then and even now. Always the biggest kid. I'll admit, i have a great sense of humor. I feel like as a bigger kid you develop that as a defense. My junior year in high school i was able to get down to a "normal" size. I felt like all the other girls for the first time in my life. Had a great time for the next 2 yrs. Finished high school with a bang. Then, i ate food again and put a lot of weight back on. I was up and down after that for pretty much the next decade. Always dated crappy guys. No family, no direction, no plans for the fiture. That was not the same background i came from. In fact, the 3 serious boyfriends i had over those years are either in prison or dead. I guess i was about 25 and i had written off men all together. I was at a good weight for me. I weighed about 160 - 170 lbs. I was comfortable in my skin. One night my best friend insisted i come over to hang out. I fidnt know she had someone there she wanted me to meet. Or i wouldnt have gone. Long story short sweetheart, i met my husband. He was 34 amd i was 26. He had a little girl but had never been married. He is everything to me. He is my best friend. We have been married for 18 yrs now. My beautiful step daughter is at MSU, studying to be a Vetinarian. She lost her mother to covid, and i thank God everyday she and i have each other. My husband amd i also have a 15 yr old son. He is a great kid. All A's in school and plays football, tennis and golf. He just got his drivers permit last week. However, I need to share this with you too. On oct. 15, 2019, my life changed forever. I wad in a car accident on the way home from work. I woke up in a hospital nearly 2 months later. I was pretty much broken from head to toe. During my stay over the nexy year, covid came and went and so did alot of my life. I had over 27 surgeries, and was completely immobile through most of it. During the time when visitors were restricted due to covid wad when i was at my worst physically. I couldnt talk because i had been on a ventilator for so long that my vocal cords had been damaged. The only part of my body i could move was my head just a little to the left. Recovery was very slow. After 5 cpmplete hip replacements, i was able to begin recovery. Several years later, im home. And had it not been for my husband im not sure i would have recovered the way i have. Ive put more weight on since the wreck than i ever woulve imagined. Im currently 255 lbs. and i struggle with those same thoughts you do. I feel so unworthy of any mans love. But you know what, my husband still loves me. He tells me atleast a few times a week how beautiful i am. He still brings me flowers just because he wants to. We still go on dates together and he still thinks im funny. My point is, there is someone out there that God is preparing you for and He is preparing that someone for you. Just trust Him and be patient, my Love. 💕

I could write a book of all of my bad dates. Haha Some were perfect on paper and gorgeous and ended up being married, nuts, etc.. lol and then when I thought I’d go out with someone I would not normally date also ended up bad. Haha I did have a FWB situation end up becoming a long term relationship. I’m not going to say, keep your head up, I hated hearing that, but I will happen.

Being plus size isn't "who" you are. It's what you are, a physical descriptor, not an identity. Physical descriptors affect many aspects of our lives, but they aren't who we are as people. You are so much more than your body. Your identity is not in your flesh, but in your soul, your spirit, who God created you to be. So it wouldn't matter if a man would choose you before you lost weight or not. If he wouldn't choose you, then that's fine, he may not have found you physically attractive, and therefore wouldn't have pursued you romantically long enough to know your soul. If he would've chosen you, then maybe he did find you physically attractive, and wanted to pursue you. Either way, if you end up with a guy who truly loves you, don't question that, because it wouldn't matter anyways.
