Anthony Covers:
His relationship w John Gotti and Sammy Gravano.
Mafia Social Clubs
Charter for the clubs
Fat Andy had a veterans charter
The veterans charter was the best one you can have.
On Mulberry St there was a club on every block.
The Ravenite was a social club on Mulberry St.
The Chin had his club on Sullican St which was on the West Side of New York City.
Cafe Liberty was Fat Andy Reggiano's social club.
Fat Andy had the tapers union in New York.
Guy that straightened
Sammy Gravano a killer, tough guy and a gangster.
They were surprised Sammy Gravano was named underboss of the Gambino Crime family.
Seeing Sammy Gravano at the Ravenite during the San Genarro feast.
Tony Lee was so old school be friends should be killed by friends.
Finding out Sammy Gravano cooperated with the FBI.
Thats the end of John.
The day Paul Castellano got killed.
What Fat Andy though of the Paul Castellano murder.
Is this the same John Gotti we knew as a kid?
Fat Andy was impressed. It was a good move and plan.

Anthony, your lack of pride or ego makes you the #1 channel for classic mob history. Keep it humble and honest.

Here's one for everyone... It ain't mine, but it resonates so true I've never forgot it, since the first time on that day I heard it: "the ego has to be slain, so that the spirit can be set free..." And that's a something everyone should always be reminding themselves of. Incredible words of wisdom.

And, Anthony You've got to get Rita Gigante back on or do some kind of work with her. Because it's so appropriate for the world the way it is now has that voice ( Rita's voice ) to help people see what a mess it becomes when a series of bad choices early on in one's life, are made by someone who is supposed to be putting the interests of you - your well being first. Yeah it's the chin and whatwver that rally means, but there's so much value between the lines and beyond, of what she has to say... Even unknowingly, and she's come out of that world a pretty cool lady. And I see you two are a good match to have a talk and out some ideas and thoughts down for why kids shouldn't have to live that type of life - that type being - raising kids in a world that is controlled by one person's ideas. It's a lot, But wish you all the best, of course

This is my new favorite channel, I've watched a couple of your interviews and I'm fascinated by your story and life. You and Sammy are both great story tellers but the reason I like your stories better is because you don't glamorize the mafia life you tell it how it is, unlike Sammy who hasn't changed one bit and openly brags about his 19 murders like it's nothing😂 This channel is criminally underrated you deserve 1 million subscribers

My best friend is a recovered addict and has started a company that not only helps place people in rehab but sets up the insurance and transportation. It's called Truistic. In many ways, I have the same relationship you had with your father. Instead of mob life, it was the music business. He started me playing the bass, and I worked for almost 20 years, now I'm a music teacher in an elementary school. But we share that respect and admiration. We are Greek and also share the love of food, as many Italians do. My Pop is 85 years old and still my best friend. Keep up the great work. You don't promote a negative lifestyle. You simply tell stories of the people you met, and situations you had. We have the same talks, but with guys we played music with. Great job man.

I think a video on Carlos Gambino would be dope. There's not that many videos on Carlos Gambino despite the fact that he was the most powerful and successful mob boss of our time. The real inspiration for the movie the godfather. His life fascinates more than any other mobster, he was the real quite and shy type allegedly, but those who knew him personally said he was ruthless but a great boss. Nobody has ever had anything bad to say about him

I’ve heard that commercial real estate in NYC has gotten so expensive and unaffordable, that Mob social clubs are more a relic of the past. I’m guessing they still have hangout spots in the back-rooms of small businesses they own. Pizzerias, delis, auto body shops, etc.

Hey Mr. Ruggiano... When Sammy sat w/Diane Sawyer, & was interviewed on practically EVERY TOPIC under the sun FFS, he NEVER mentioned that Gotti (allegedly!) told him to "take the weight." Not one, single, solitary time does he mention Gotti giving him the ORDER to take the fall! Call me crazy, but THAT seems like something you'd probably mention! Yet, he didn't mention it UNTIL(!) he got his podcast! Or, at the earliest, during his first interview ever w/Patrick Bet-David @ Valuetainment! Prior to that, he only alluded to the fact that Gotti's only POSSIBLE defense was to paint Sammy as an out-of-control, murderous cowboy, & one that Gotti just couldn't control! So I guess what I'm tryna ask ya is this: Do you believe Gotti told Sammy to take the weight, or do ya think Gravano cooked that story up only AFTER Gotti Sr. passed on??? Also, Franzese is adamant that he, along with other men who would go on to become Colombo heavyweights, on Halloween of 1975, got straightened out... even though there is MUCH evidence that Michael's either #1 not remembering correctly, or #2 just straight-out bullshitting?!! If you'd be so kind as to share your opinions here, you have my word on my late wife, Sarah Ann's name, that I'll ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY WILL SUBSCRIBE! Except this isn't me trying to shake ANYONE down... And especially not you!💯 God bless & Marry Christmas ⛄🎄 to you & yours, Mr. Ruggiano!
