Anthony is so damn likeable and believable! So genuine enthusiasm for his past life and the pride of his father and his family both personally and crine families is so infectious and easy to listen to! Thank god for guys like this to help keep these stories going to preserve the absolutely fascinating era of American history and how the mafia has become an important part of the whole Americana experience! Genuinely honest about what the day to day activities and social dynamic was like for the average gangster from associate to heavy hitters in more detail than one could ever imagine all these years later! I never thought of how devious Genovese and Gambino and by proxy Gigante and Castellano were by killing a boss and then making that rule. Genovese and Gigante tried to kill Costello and Paul had to be involved or know of the hit on Anastasia

I'm watching this for the second or third time and I get something new every time. Neil Dellacroce is the gangster I find the most interesting across the history of the American mafia and I'm really enjoying the new information as content about him has been hard to find until fairly recently. Your streams are always interesting, and this one was especially good!

It shows that these people are not normal. Many of them are psychopaths. If I had to discuss a murder I committed I couldn't do it even if I thought the murder was unavoidable. Yet they see murder as just part of the business. Very scary people.

You don't hear too many stories from people who knew Aniello, on the level you did, and can tell us first person. Aniello , has always fascinated me. I picked the garbage up at your dad's club and the other places in OZ park. When they did the 4th of July thing we had like 6 2yd containers along the elevated train lots. These containers didn't have WSI painted on them though 😄

Based on what I have read, it seems like the Gambinos and the Genovese were in a “Cold War” of sorts, like they would often support opposing factions when there was internal conflicts in other families inside and outside NY, etc. and it seems like things were tense in general between the Gambinos and Genovese. Am I correct in these observations?

My father used to play pinnacle and the money would go on a number also , I think it was 1966 or 67 he caught 222 for a little over 100 k I wasn't born till 1969 but , matter of fact Perky who was one of Frankie martins guys was playing with them on that game , idk if you knew Perky from downtown Brooklyn ? but my father was good friends with him as well as Frankie ,

I love these stories so much. I feel like I’m hearing my self talk when u say some of these things. Lol!! My poppy was actually with Chin in Springfield Medical.
