Mine has gone in to RSC for service. Last one was 10 years ago. Can't wait to get it back. May need to change the bezel as I dropped and damaged it. The rest I'll keep original.

I just bought the same watch (14060M, 2008, M serial number) this week. It was/is evidently old new stock that was never owned and just used for a demo in Hong Kong. It's in PERFECT condition - with box, papers and warranty card and wallet and the long 'f'. I've taken the band off (model and serial are on the inside - YEAH!) and put a perforated band on to save the original. I'll be WEARING it! Thanks.

The 14060M-2 liner was made from 2000-2007, the 4-liner was made from 2008-2012 which was then replaced by ceramic bezel 114060!

I have seen a long f dated 2010. I doubt they were a dial available between the years you stated or all 2008/9 models would have the font, which is identical to the Sub Date version. Could it be a replacement service dial?

It’s been such a long time I’ve forgotten all about it! I still own the watch though! It’s timeless my one is all original ☘️

James at Rolex is awesome. I've dealt with him a few times. Joked about swapping my Tudor GMT for the Rolex when it had the date issue once. Oh how we laughed 😂

Got the same transitional model from 2008. Doesn’t get the wrist time it once did but I bring it out now and then.

Can you replace the old bracelet with a modern one? With glide lock adjust?

No! However my replacement bracelet is period current, in 2010 they upgraded the bracelet which has a micro adjustment similar to the current DJ if that’s what you want.

Call Rolex! If I remember correctly the service centre will give you the correct serial number. However when the store enters it they will see 7 different options and be stuck! So make sure Rolex gives you the entire long number.

Thanks for sharing, just so you know they turn away people! To get your name on a wait list is a good start. My favourite is Sarah she has a hart of gold! I don’t buy from Sarah but the interaction is great. Laura is actually a collector she has an EX 11 Polor and many more watches in her collection. Just pop in once and a while. The path is be a customer if you know what I mean! Go back with the wife or girlfriend and buy her something through Laura! Or get yourself another watch brand from there.
