Here we go, it's time to speak some Romanian! Remember the SUBTITLES and I hope you enjoy!
I apologize for the insufficient lighting and the camera going in and out of focus - I will definitely pay more attention to this next time!
Ingeniously, (sarcasm off) I forgot to mention how long I've studied Romanian: that's 2 years and a bit (doi ani și un pic!).
Again: THIS WAS A ONE-TAKE! :D I made some small cuts here and there just to reduce the playing time a little bit.

Stefano how hard is for an italian to learn romanian, most romanians have an easy time with nordic italian dialects, i myself do not understand anything from SICILIA, but standard italian and Sardinian no problem.

@Streamer LX4 that is what I hoped... but damn! Going to school here... and people steal like hell! One German guy started stealing books of the book shelves at a party. Then, when my class paid a visit to the Sparkasse, they've stolen a bunch of bottles of pop, soda from there. We are "Abiturienten" btw. And after that, the teacher just used the public transportation without a ticket. At first I felt awkward and disappointed, but then I forgot, that stealing is ok and that morals are nothing in Germany. The times I experienced larceny in Germany is greater than I've heard of in Romania. My region at least. Should I start talking about German kids and their lack of ability to properly speak German? About their reduced mental capability? The fact, that they're mostly whores and drug addicts? First hand experience with the Germans only made me feel disgusted by what happened to this country... Believe me, if have been there, you would see how little hope them German kids give you.

This week I started studying Romanian! Your video is a motivational one to not give up. Since Romanian and Spanish (my native language) are from the same family, I’m finding it easy to understand and love it more every day. Romania is so fascinating and its language just called me like a sweet Siren’ song. I’ve never been to the country but I’m planning to as soon as the Pandemic is over. Înainte de `89 apăreau mereu la TV ambasadori în România ai diferitelor țări cu ocazia zilei naționale a țării respective și mă uimeau cu româna pe care o vorbeau. Uneori impecabilă, alteori cu un accent ciudat, dar întotdeauna mă încânta conținutul discursului.

Are you sure are not romanian? You are speaking exactly as a native, no grammatical mistakes and the pronunciation is absolutely spot on! Romanian is a really difficult language ! I haven’t yet heard someone from another country speaking romanian this good! I was prepared to cringe, but it wasn’t the case at all! Fantastic, îți multumesc din tot sufletul ca mi-ai arătat tot ce-ți propui prin determinare și munca susținută! Incredibil! Ai devenit noul meu model!

Italiana este o limba apropiata de romana, probabil de aceea. Si da, romana este o limba greu de invatat!

Orice limba e grea cu atat mai mult daca nu are corespondenta in limba pe care o vorbesti de ex pt români o limba grea ar fi maghiara sau germana de ex limbi total fara corespondentă. And I do not talk about english because the media will learn you english off course if you are not dumb to not be receptive. De ex am invatat italiana de la emisioni per bambini toppo gigio cand eram mic stiu sa vb aproape perfect dar nu stiu sa scriu😉 asa ca limba se asimilieaza daca stai in comunitate si daca gasesti prieteni de origine de ex maghiara la fel mă descurc perfect cu vorbitul dar cu scrisul deloc in schimb germana astia sunt niste oameni reci si nici dupa 8 ani nu pot spune ca stiu bine dar macar ce stiu am invatat singur nu de la ei in comunitate asa ca sunt oameni care stiu lejer 4-5 limbi ca doar nu pe toti ne cheama Veorica Alles beste und tschüss.

Catare cele mai dese greșeli sunt cele despre ă și â pe care de obicei le inlocuia cu a și câteodată nu pronunță sfârșitul cuvântului

My mother is romanian but I live in the middle east, therefore I only speak fluent english and arabic, this video gave me some inspiration to start speaking the language like I did as a little kid 😁

Great video! You speak fluently! I discovered the romanian language one year ago because i made an online romanian friend and fell in love with how beautiful romanian sounds. Since then i've been practicing on duolingo beacause i dont have a lot of free time due to college stuff. After i finish the duolingo course i want to study through a book, maybe one of those you recomended. Im brazilian and my native language is portuguese, so there are many similarities in words and structures, which helps me a lot :)

Limba noastră nu este învățată de foarte mulți străini, dar dumneavoastră sunteți un exemplu admirabil, si nu toti străinii reușesc sa invete limba noastră la fel de bine ca dumneavoastră. Sunt multi români la noi care tot nu stiu sa scrie corect pe tastatură, si multi care au probleme cu vorbitul. Good job! You have an excellent level in Romanian and you speak it better than many natives. Grammatically I didn't find any mistake, and that's a great feat, kudos. Many native Romanian speakers would have surely made the mistake of using "care" instead of the correct "pe care" you used. Also your pronunciation of the diacritic/accented letters is very good, albeit not 100% perfect. I'd say you probably have a B2 level in Romanian. Also, even if some of the words you used, like "sunt fericit că", sounds unnatural to a native speaker but you're 100% understood (we would rather use "sunt bucuros că"). Felicitări!

To be honest, i don't know you, i've never saw you on this platform before. Your video was suggested as i was searching for something else and i wanted to hear what you had to say and i am really impressed in a very positive way. You speak romanian very well, i can't complain. I live in germany at the moment and i see more and more romanian kids quitting speaking their native language for german.. and you speak a lot better than them or a big part of the romanians that still live in their country. I would love to see your grammar too. Don't worry for your mistakes, we always say "din greșeli înveți" and you should be proud of yourself. Wow, congratulations! If it wasn't for few "A"s that you pronnounced as "A" and few "Î"s that you pronnounced as "I", I would not belived you that you are not Romanian. You even avoid nicely some grammar mistakes that Romanians often do i.e.: you correctly use "pe care" instead of "care" (where needed) and you correctly use "decât" after negative verbes and "doar" after positive verbes. I feel that you do not realise how good your romanian level is. Good work! I wish my english was as good as your romanian is. :)

Felicitari cu limba română ta! Vorbești foarte, foarte bine. Sunt englez și am învățat română pentru doi ani cu Duolingo. Nu am nivelul tau... Sunt tot de acord ca acesta și acela sunt cuvintele cele mai grele din limba.

ich hörte dass rumänische ist sehr schwer für deutschen Leute. Ich bin Rumäne und ich versuche Deutsch zu lernen aber ich bin nicht jetzt so gut. Ich denke dass Deutsch ist etwas schwierig.

Foarte impresionant ! Ca strain, intr-un interval atat de mic de timp sa dobandesti cititul, intelesul si vorbirea romaneasca este cu adevarat uimitor ! Pronuntarea cuvintelor cu accentul lor este superlativul sublim atins, dumneavoastra sunteti facut sa vorbiti orice limba cu acccentul ei specific; cred ca aveti si calitati de orator :)

You sound really authentic. At the beginning I couldn't really tell that you were not a native, so congratulations. Maybe some practice is still needed for the words' final "ã" (it should sound like the vowel from the French "que") and for the stress on the correct syllable, but I think you'll get there really soon. Tip: shorten the last "i"

I've been learning Romanian as a second language for the past 9 or so months. LingQ has been a great resource, as well as a couple of books I found on Amazon. I haven't met any Romanians where I am in New York State (not the city), but someday I'd like to take a trip to Romania. Great video, subscribed!

You speak really well, congrats. I am native speaker of romanian, but u can assurr you that you do an excelent job. You even know when to use "care" and "pe care", thing that most native romanians...or many of them do nkt even know how to apply it. :) So good job, keep going!
