I think you made the right move, free flowing test pipes with more mufflers and resonators is almost always the right move

Touring edition was a good call. Had an AWE touring on my B8 S4 and it was just right. Tried the the track section and hated the drone with a passion. Needless to say I went right back to touring.

Sounds really good. Since I have sport exhaust, I think it already sounds good but will add some volume via SRM long tube intakes and potentially some downpipes in the future. If I still need more sound at that point, then I’ll call AWE.

Beautiful car man. I used to watch your vids when you had the S4 I had a B8.5 S5 unfortunately it was totaled and then i bought a 16 S6 last year in May and come back to check and you got an S6! Hell yeah. Im on Unitronic and have awe track! Love the red interior im jealous!

The best part about turbo cars is that the turbos act as a muffler, so even with catless downpipes its not going to be too over the top like an NA or SC car would

In video it sounds similar to the Akrapovic exhaust for these cars with a bit more volume. Not sure if it is the same in person but I really dig the sound it makes!

First of all, if you want it loud, just buy the track version. Secondly, the best exhuast for the v8tt is definitely milltek or akrapovic.

Do you have an xpipe instead of center muffler and did you delete the front resonators?

I wish AWE would R&D and manufacture an exhaust system for an Audi Q7 4M (mine is particularly is a 2017). I say this because I hear a faint burble/crackle when I’m driving in Sport mode or manual mode. I’d much like to hear mine louder like your previous SQ5

With how much you do Exhaust systems....you should consider doing some exterior mounted video/audio. Nice video, sounds good.

Is this the AWE Touring Edition Exhaust ? Nothing else done to it? I love the crackling on the downshift and this is what ive been looking for. Beautiful!

Why do so many go with awe or milltek over apr? They cost much less but i think i can count the amount of apr setups ive seen on youtube.

Had an awe on my old mk5. And have yet hear one that sounded as good. Mk5 fsi can sound like a tractor but not with the awe. It was so buttery smooth. So I completely agree with the statement that they are the best exhaust company.

Does this effect warranty? I have a 2017 s6 and I still want my warranty lol, I have extended, you think this would effect it?

To counter the previous reply, catback exhausts should not affect warranty as it does not affect emissions. Check with a service advisor, but it should not.

@@hikeskool I wouldn’t say it’s a loud exhaust rather than it makes sound now. It’s a sport model if someone wants a quiet Audi that should be the A6 and the sport model should have a more powerful engine and sound.

Hi ignitiontube your car sounds awesome. Question i have you probably know better than I would. I just recently have Ecs exhaust installed on my s4. Is the car supposed to make a thump noise when turning or hitting bumps had it checked out but seem can't to find the problem. Makes me regret putting the exhaust on sometimes.

I have the ECS on my S5 and have no thumps or issues. Sounds amazing aswell, I'd go out on a limb and say better than the AWE =)

Both exhaust sounds great. I think the folks who installed my exhaust screwed something up but I just can't figure it out or if its missing something.

@@nak0320 They do both sound great. If possible have it checked out at a different shop, you could also talk with ECS and see if they have any thoughts about it.

I had taken it to another shop and had it rechecked and they mentioned the the folks who installed it did a terrible job. The exhaust was very loose so thats the thump and vibration was from. So they weld some new studs and realign everything now its good.

Why don't you like Armytrix? Their valvetronic exhaust is super slick. Checkout Samcrac's RS6 for a soundbite👍🏿

Do you have a warranty on that car? If so, does aftermarket exhaust void it? I recently purchased a 2017 s6 and purchased a third party warranty but was thinking of installing this exhaust system.
