My Secret Flathead Fishing Spot Revealed (Fishing Australia).
This is one of Victoria, Australia's best flathead fishing spots. I have published this video with the firm belief that sustainable fisheries are achieved through education and discussion of sustainable fishing practices, and not by trying to keep good fishing spots a secret.

As you walked along the banks i thought it was tyers, then when you got to the boat ramp I said out loud Nowa Nowa. awesome area.

I thought you might pick it! Great spot for the kayak. We spooked a lot of big fish in the boat, a good few in that 70-80cm range.

Marx Fishing awesome. Are we getting a flathead vlog for our viewing pleasure?? I do love the place. Will be in lakes first Dec. chasing bass and probably a few flatties. We also need to get yourself and LFTV up after some cod soon 👌🏼

Ah Nowa Nowa, my old neck of the woods. Grew up in Lakes Entrance, know the place well. Nice flatties up there.

It's a pretty good spot. Lakes would have changed a lot since you were a kid, it's a proper town these days... I preferred it how it was, but I guess that's progress.

@@marxfishing Been back twice I think. When I was there the old footbridge was still there and no foreshore was there. Yeah it's all changed now. Be back up there soon for Mako season.

my grandparents used to live in buchan then me and my dad used to go up there and fish, nearlly always caught something there

the burgers at the shop are amazing and the pub has some cool retro stuff too !!!! awesome poeple :P im currently living 20 mins from there and drive through nowa nowa daily have caught some good fish there in the Kayak :)

No Kidding! Great part of the world, lucky you. Yes, I think it may be an even better fishery in a kayak, we were spooking lots of big flathead in the boat. A kayak would be much more stealth.

Well said mate, I agree with sustaining the populations in certain waterways. That place is only about 6 hours from here LOL. If I'm ever over that way I'll check it out, looks nice

Land based is ok too, but maybe not as good as boat or kayak. Having said that, I have seen some massive flathead caught off the bank there, 85cm + fish.

It's nice to know it's still good, Lakes Entrance and Lake Tyers lower end are fished out. We don't even bother anymore.

Yes, you do get EP’s in there, not heaps, like bream and flathead, but they do pop up.
