www.landfishtv.com.au Catching the one of the most sought-after fish (Snapper) in the most liveable city in the WORLD (Melbourne).
The reason I was down there was due to walking along the docks a couple of days prior and to my amazement I saw a large school of Snapper, me being who I am, I quickly pulled my phone out and started to film the school, unfortunately the footage was not the best but I posted it to Facebook to alert the local fishing community to the amazing fishing opportunity available at the time within the heart of the most liveable city of the world, DOCKLANDS.
The video of the school of Snapper I posted to Facebook was quickly seen by the fishing community and everyone was tagging their mates. The next day I went down to the area again and noticed many fisherman trying their luck and being SUCCESSFUL in catching a few snapper each.
Eventually half way through a work shift, I told the boss I couldn’t hold on anymore and I took the afternoon off to go chase the Snapper of Docklands myself. Even that was an adventure, I had to take a tram home get my gear and then grab another tram back into the City. I was that excited that I got on the next tram and it went in the wrong direction, this lead me to getting an uber, sitting in the back of the car and rigging up my gear on the trip back into docklands.
I used my normal style of fishing, which is fishing with soft plastics to entice a few of the snapper that were there and at points was having double hook ups with the people beside me.

this is what i love about fishing, the fishing community are among one of the most friendliest people. most don't judge and most are extremely patient with you even if you accidentally tangle up with their line a few times. love this sports and cannot see myself living without it.

Depends on the colour of the fish, if they are lighter and brighter then that will be a fish that has just been passing through and would be fine to eat. Any darker ones would most likely be resident fish and I wouldn't risk it.
