In this video, you will learn my secret trick for making fluffy pom poms every time--even with the cheaper, coarser yarns!
I have several easy tips for making fluffy pom poms (some are fairly obvious, like start with a softer, fluffier yarn from the get-go). But be sure to stick around for my secret trick which will take your coarse pom pom to that full, round, fluffy pom pom you're hoping for.
Pom poms are the perfect addition to so many different DIY craft projects--clothing, hats, decor, wreaths, and more! If your craft project requires more than one pom pom, I highly recommend investing in an inexpensive pom pom maker set (see my list of materials below). Though you can make pom poms without a pom pom maker, this is the method I prefer hands down! I promise, it's the easiest way to make pom poms!
Supplies Needed:

2. yarn-I prefer medium weight
3. *a long needle, around 3 inches long (such as a tapestry needle): amzn.to/2NKhVKq
4. *a needle threader (I use Flexi needle threaders): amzn.to/3ikwl1O
5. sharp scissors
6. a bristle brush
*these items are for reinforcing your pom pom, which is an important step I recommend doing before brushing your pom pom
