Trying to figure out count of each color of clothespins. I’m coming up with 54 of each?
@aubreeoriginals13 күн бұрын
Hi Dawn, yes, I believe I used 54 of each color. It might vary a little depending how close you push them together or if you’re using a different wreath form.

I love this idea. When I was a young child there was a single older lady on our street that would let me play with her button box when I visited her. When I was expecting grandchildren I started saving all my buttons for them. When they were old enough they loved playing with the button box. They are now teenagers but I’m going to make them each a little button tree with their favorite buttons on it!

That is so sweet! They will absolutely love that! I still remember a little box of random trinkets I’d play with at my great grandma’s house. Those memories last forever.

@aubreeoriginals3 ай бұрын
Great question! Digital mystery boxes do not come with a Cutie or any other physical items. Digital boxes will only ever contain digital images (and sometimes fonts) that you will have available to use in Cricut Design Space after purchasing the box. You can see more info here: www.aubreeoriginals.com/digital-cricut-mystery-box/

I was really drawn to that white pumpkin myself because I’m not a big orange fan at all at Halloween and in the fall. I’ll get a large wreath last year and it’s basically with the same color scheme you have only I use some purple grapes in it, and some fall leaf colors that were subdued like yours are as well. Basically everything on my leave for the most part reminded me of my parents and grandparents and then I added a sign that said: “incredibly grateful”. I totally loved your pumpkin and I thought you did a wonderful job explaining everything. I would like to know approximately what it cost you because I live where I have access not only to Hobby lobby, but I have Michael’s, Lowe’s, and Home Depot and JoAnn Fabrics available to me . I typically don’t shop at hobby lobby because I find their prices higher than anybody else even with a 40% discount because every day is 40% at their place. I know it probably would be hard for you to price it out if you had some of the pics already purchased, but if you could give me a your best guess, I would appreciate that. You’re a girl up my own heart doing that pumpkin in the fall colors you chose❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️
@aubreeoriginals8 ай бұрын
I love that your decor reminds you of your parents and grandparents, Vickie! That’s so sweet. Yes, the muted colors are so nice! I will have to go back through and see if I can estimate how much I spent on this. I like the selection of fall picks at hobby lobby a lot better than most stores and I’ve felt like they’re comparable in price. The best time to shop, though, is at the end of the season when fall stuff gets marked down a ton! I’ve amassed quite the faux floral collection doing that. Anyway, I’ll do some price digging and get back to you. 😊
@aubreeoriginals8 ай бұрын
Hi Vickie! I priced everything out and these supplies came to about $48 if everything was purchased at a 40% off sale ($11 being just the pumpkin). If fall is 50% off, then it'd be around $40. And I would bet I pulled half of the picks from my stash where I had purchased them the prior year at a 75% or more sale, so it may have even been a little cheaper. (Still not the cheapest craft, but at least cheaper than most store-bought or custom arrangements.) I'm curious now if you could do this cheaper shopping at another craft store, but, either way, I love the quality and variety from Hobby Lobby. I hope that helps! :)

Thank You for sharing this video. Can you please help me? I got a Clover pom pom maker for my birthday, but mine don't come out the same way people told me to do it? What kind of yarn is the best one to make. I believe I use Red heart too, but I couldn't put all the yarn that was required too, because it was to full, & wouldn't close.😊
@aubreeoriginals10 ай бұрын
Hi Lorie, I’m sorry you’re having trouble! It sounds like you need to use a little less yarn next time-if you can’t close it, then it was too much. Also, be sure you tie the middle piece of yarn as tight as you can so it holds together. The type of yarn shouldn’t matter too much but different types will yield different textured pom poms. It takes a little practice but then you should get the process down! 🙂

I was so happy to stumble upon this idea on Pinterest. I am going to a crafty girl meet up with the theme "Spring Fling" and we are each to bring a make and take for everyone. Since we are paper crafters, I thought this would be a refreshing change. I tried making one to see how long it take and I was able to complete it in under an hour so I created kits for each girl. I think they will love it! When I look at it, it just makes me smile. It is the cutest thing ever! Thanks so much gina

I struggle with pompoms becuz I never get it tied tight enuf n all the yarns always come out! So thanks for this, now that I know how to sew it together after tying the knots I'm sure this will fix my problem for sure! Thank you! P.s.have you tried the long , peg type pompom makers? They seem like they aren't as good as your pompom makers. I also used once a broken plastic coat hanger which worked surprisingly well!
@aubreeoriginals Жыл бұрын
Hi Rashauna! I haven’t tried the peg pompom makers but there’s definitely lots of ways to make them! I hope the sewing works for you! I know some people use a thin line of hot glue around the center too, but I feel like that would be too messy for me so I’ve stuck with doing a few stitches at the end. Good luck! 🙂
