Hey there guys! This video deals with a long standing issue that WAS a deviated septum! Primarily that and my enlarged turbinates that often obstructed my airways which was something I just got used to. (I was a total mouth breather!!) I got by but when there was a mold, issue it became unbearable. I couldn’t breathe at all, I got sudden asthma like attacks and needed to use an inhaler! I couldn't get my sinuses to drain AT ALL both bilaterally and on my forehead so I continuously got chronic sinus infections. None of the antibiotics helped me heal and some actually messed me up for a while. I was sent to an ENT and the rest is history. I will talk about my story and then speak about my procedure and recovery. I hope this video can help you if you are thinking about getting some of these procedures. Despite there being risks, I am SO unbelievably grateful that I did go through with it because I can actually BREATHE!! I can smell so much more as well, which I thought was impossible since my smelling wasn’t half bad! At any rate, I wish you well and please see the legend tabs down below if you’re looking of a specific topic. One more mention was that the humidifier helped so much post op as well! BOY what a difference it made.
Thanks so much for watching!
:) - Ale

Hey love. I did the balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction March 23. I'm so much better. I got rhinitis Dec 21, never dealt with any of this before, thanks to covid. I APPRECIATE YOUR VIDEO because I'm going to record one for my channel too. We need updated ones and my journey is so similar to yours. What struggles do you have, if any?

How are you feeling now? Did your nostrils appear inflamed like they were more open/wider while you were initially swollen? Did you notice any irregularities? Is your nose still tender to touch now?

Did you have brain fog? im on post op day 3 an still feel really out of it. I am not on pain killers. I also had brain fog before having the surgery. Which was one of my main symptoms that annoyed me with my sinuses. It's a feeling of almost being detached from reality. Even driving felt weird. I just hope this feeling goes away soon. Post op dat 3 and I still have the fog and is if im stoned but Im not
