Yeah, but in the Shadowhunter's Codex it says the pronunciation is Steh-lay... before I read it I just pronounced it steel, too!

Finally someone who loves The Mortal Instruments as much as me! I loved your video! And I realized I got a lot of the same knick knacks that you have! Many years ago I was at the bookstore and wanted something new to read and the cashier took me to the new releases and there was The City of Bones. She said they had just gotten it in an no one brought it from that store yet so I was the first person in my area to purchase Cassandra Clare's book. And I went home and read it in a day and a half, and I was hooked. That's my only story so far. That and I dressed as Clary in March for the Chicago's Heroes and Villains Fest. It was pretty cool. But not a lot of people knew who I was!

I didn't read the books for several years. Every time I went to the bookstore, I always saw the books there, but I was too afraid to pick them up. Then one day I said to heck with it and bought the Infernal Devices boxset (in hardcover). I read the trilogy and I loved it then I ordered the TMI boxset (also in hardcover) and read all of those. Long story short, that's how I became a fan.

I loved the movie too! When the show was very first coming out and so many people were like "At least it's better than the movie" I was like "whaaaat are we seeing the same things?" The illustrations in the Notable Shadowhunters book look gorgeous.

I personally loved the movie and I definitely prefer it WAY more than the tv show. There were just way too many things that didn't sit well with me (especially the fact that Jonathan's death was different; that is ONE thing that I canNOT tolerate) about the show so I just decided to stay clear of it.

This is glorious! I have the rune with wings necklace, too, I wear it all the time--it actually goes with everything! And don't worry, I think I'm the only other person who loves the movie and has watched it so many times... I'm Brazilian. Here in Brazil there is almost nothing of the universe Shadowhunters to sell, and that makes me very sad... I would very much like to have at least the tarots. Here in Brazil just have two editions of The Mortal Instruments, and I have it, so I'm happy for that. But The Infernal Devices just have one. I have it too, but I wish they made all the editions, so I could buy.

I have been trying to get The Mortal Instruments books ever since the movie came out & all I've succeeded in getting is: The 1st & last one & then the Magnus Bane Chronicles. Realllllllly hoping I get the box set where it makes the bridge for my 16th birthday in August. And ever since I found this video I found myself watching it multiple times because of your joy & love for the series makes me want to watch it even more.

I am a Shadowhunter cosplayer and I love cosplaying as Jace, Sebastian, Emma, Mark and Malcolm.I have the books[Even the Codex and the flower books], films, OST to the TV series, Postcards, TMI meets TDA poster, Jace's necklace, Izzy's necklace, Clary's necklace and family rings. I have made the Morgenstern twin swords and I have Jace's Stelle as well as Jace's jacket from the film as well. THANK YOU ANOTHER MOVIE LOVER, I got into the series from the movie as well and I have meet my Parabatai due to this and due to being bullied as I was cosplaying Jace and getting told "I am nothing like him" but hey cosplay is cosplay. I have Subbed to you as well :3

Emma, you were the one that finally pushed me to read City Of Bones, I had been wanting to for about 2 years but I had so many other books that I had wanted to read and I just never got around to it. That is until I found your channel. seeing you be so enthusiastic about it really pushed me to finally read the series and I am in love with the characters now. I am only in the middle of City Of Bones but I have City Of Glass and City Of Ashes waiting for me on my shelf. I love Jace so very much, he is one of my favorite fictional characters I have ever read about and I just love the whole story and all the characters. Even though I am only in the middle of the first book, it and it's characters have already played a major part in my life. I really love these characters and I really have needed them these past couple weeks as I am moving and it has been an escape to get away from the stress. I know you probably won't read this but I just wanted to say thank you so much.
