Sharp Airlines is a regional carrier formed in 1990 in Hamilton Victoria. The airline was created as a way to serve South East Australia, They serve 6 destinations, with all but 1 being in the state of Tasmania. Their fleet, as of 2023, consists of Fairchild Metro 23s (16).

Great video! My first flying job was as a first officer flying the Metro for Sharp. In fact I was based in Launceston so have flown this route many times. Glad you enjoyed the flight, sharp has some interesting destinations.

@@YoungAussieFlyer Yeah it was great fun to fly the metro around the Bass Straight. If you get a chance to go back down a trip out to Flinders Island is also highly recommended. Keep the videos coming!

Great Video, You flew into my home town! I love Sharp Airlines and have countless spotting vids on my channel of them, would love to fly with them. I actually got invited into the hanger and its great but the plane is tiny!

Wow looking forward to this one when I was driving around Tassie back in 2021 it only took 1.5 hours to drive between Launceston and Burnie! Reminds me of the 22 minute 129km flight I took a few months back between Langkawi and Penang on a 737 haha

Great review, aside from Par Avion I consider Sharp my local airline so nice to see them reviewed. I really gotta take a flight with them some time!
