There was a story that I have read before similar to this story but the younger sister was jealous of the women who her brother gotten married to that she wants to have sex with her brother and get pregnant to rub some jealously to the women. The mom was so disgusted and disowned her immediately.

Emma needs to be locked up in a mental hospital. She has incestuous feelings for her brother and tried to use other women as proxies for her sonce she can't get with Adam. And she then blames everyone else for her train wreck of a life, that she caused, rather than take responsibility and get help. Even worse, she tried to murder OP but it backfired and Max ended up nearly dying.

Technically, it is the state who “press charges” against criminal acts. Regular people can sue for monetary damages in civil matters, but crimes are enforced by the state. So crimes, if the victim doesn’t cooperate, they don’t have the proof, so for minor stuff the victim saying not to press charges is usually enough. But murder or attempted murder, the state may go ahead and press charges anyway. They can even subpoena the victim to testify. I have heard of SA victims being jailed for contempt of court for not testifying, even though the DA is pressing charges.

Yeah. It's entertaining but I hate that I can tell immediately. There are phrases that all the stories seem to use, with particular comparison's or similar words, and sometimes details don't all add up. "[person] had tears running down their face/[people] had tears running down their faces" is a very common descriptor I see that is sometimes a tell for me that it's AI. It's especially obvious is it's used as a main descriptor every time someone cries, whether it's OP or someone else. Also, most people don't write so narratively/aren't super good at story-telling. However, I think it's also possible that sometimes, people are writing a true story, but then they use ChatGPT or some equivalent to help them write it. This could be why some of the plots may seem realistic (or would be hard to make up), but the writing seems to be at least partially AI generated.

Why isn't anyone calling out Emma for her behavior and tell her shut the hell up? After hearing the AITA question: Why would OP ever be the a-hole? She can't eat the food due to an allergy, BIL offered to eat it, none of you saw anything that points to it being poisoned. So I see no reason whatsoever that OP is an a-hole. After hearing updates: Thank god the judge wasn't buying her bs and threw the book at her. And I hope the family stays away from that psycho and the baby is taken away and her ex husband gets full custody and awarded a restraining order.
