In Finland we tend to keep the Christmas tree up until January 6th, and in some parts of the country until January 13th, but the 6th is the more common date to take down Christmas.

Many people leave the tree up until January 6th because of religious reasons. Everyone has their own traditions. People need to chill out, it’s not hurting anyone if you leave your tree up. Leave it up for as long as you want. You can leave the Christmas lights up until January, it’s your house, you make the rules

The 12 days of Christmas are actually December 25 (Christmas Day) to January 6 (Epiphany), so you are well within your rights to leave it up for at least another week!

Also Kayla - you have to perform inspection and maintenance on your units to keep the revolts down.

Your mom has it right. We left our tree up until after Jan 6th which is three kings day! We actually exchanged our most valuable presents on Jan. 6th. It was always like having a second Xmas.

For people who say "it's december 27th why is your tree still up?" Here in most of Western Europe we celebrate christmas until January 6th. Not sure about the rest of Europe though.

My Sim had triplets as a single parent, and the infant stage made me want to quit the game. I was about to pull my hair out lol Also as Christmas trees go, as a personal lover of the Christmas aesthetic, I firmly believe trees should stay up however long you want; even as far as all through winter (although that might be a bit extreme 😆)

Re: Christmas Tree -- the world needs more light in the darkness. As far as I know, keeping it up until at least Twelfth Night (January 6th) is quite common? For our house, any holiday's decorations have a better-than-half chance of being taken down when it's time to put up the next ones. In this case, Valentine's Day.

In germany some cities offer a service where the trees are collected, so people will take it down when its convenient to get rid of it. the last time to have them collected usually is around the 20th of january. so keep it up as long as you want haha :D

it's actually very common over here to keep the Christmas tree up until Jan 6th (a holiday for the three wise men) *at least*! People are expected to throw them out within the following week, but taking it down before then is seen as kinda weird.

Here in Germany most of the people leave the tree til 6 january. Because of the three kings who visited baby Jesus at that date. They were still in the stable so leave the tree as long as you want! 😂

If tinker is the heir, I think you should make them use he/him pronouns when they age up as a teen. There hasn’t been a male heir in forever and I feel like having a trans man in the legacy would offer a lot more diversity. They could even use a feminine frame as a teen then get the top surgery scars as a young adult! Also I feel like including more hijabi sims would be very nice to see. I love this series so much girl!!!!

You could actually leave it up. There is some people that leave it up and decorate it from different holidays until Christmas again they decorated because it doesn’t make sense taking it down and fixing it every single year starting to do this too because it makes sense. I follow these couples on TikTok that actually do this Valentine’s day decorate the tree and holidays. They decorated the theme for the holiday.

Christmas tree 'etiquette' is in the eye of its host lol! We leave ours up until February. But I have a few family members who take theirs down the night of Christmas Day, some the Dat after Christmas, some wait until New Year's Eve or NYD lol! And I have a couple friends who leave one up the entire year 😂😂. So I say it's what ever YOU would like to do! 😊

We (in The Netherlands) usually have our Christmas trees up for about 2 months. Most people put them up at the beginning of December and take them down half wat through January, so leave it up!! It looks so cute and in my mind, Christmas isn’t over until January first :).

omg yes!! The holiday glitch has been happening to me lately with one specific child sim. The holiday doesn’t show up in the corner whenever I’m playing as him but it shows up for every other sim in his family and my other played households!

We've often got our tree up til late January, sometimes even til February. It really depends on how the tree is doing and how everyone is feeling on it still being there. I am from Germany and people are really different in putting their tree up and down around here: some might put the tree up early December/Advent and take it down soon after Christmas (around the 27th/28th) and others (my family included) will buy the tree just on the 23rd and put it up then (in Germany we get our presents on Christmas Eve, the 24th), taking it down much later. Many will wait usually till the 6th of January (Epiphany). So: don't 2orry and do as you feel like - I'm sure you'll get tired of it at some point. And until then: enjoy the tree and Christmas altogether:) I hope you're having a good time with your family! ❤

Regarding your Christmas Tree - in our household we always kept the Christmas Tree up until at least the Epiphany (when the three wise men finally made it to Jerusalem). Although there were some years when my mother was working two jobs and going to school at night it remained up A LOT longer - we considered redecorating it for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day. Easter...... LOL

Traditionally the tree stays up for the 12 days of Christmas, so trough the 6th of january, being taken down on the 7th. (and yes, the twelve days of Christmas are celebrated AFTER christmas day 😉) But do whatever you want, it's your tree and your chanel 😊

In Sweden you're supposed to dance out christmas on tjugondedag Knut, the 13th of January. Tjugondedag means 20 days, and 13th of jan is 20 days after Christmas, since we celebrate on the 24th.

We don't celebrate Christmas in my country at all, we celebrate New Year, which means that no one in their right mind would even think about taking down the tree before at the very least 10th of January (it's around the time when winter holidays end) But as far as I know not taking down the tree during January and even February is perfectly acceptable When I had one, I took it down in March sometimes because it's usually still cold and snowy in March where I'm at

In Russia some people celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December, most people on the 7th of January. So every family keeps the tree as long as they find it suitable. I put it up late in December, right before the 25th, and keep it till about February

The holiday glitch has been happening for me too! I usually make a “summer break” holiday for my Sims to give them a 3 day weekend during that season and it was super glitchy when I was playing it last week.
