I have a 7 month old and she’s been sleeping on her stomach since she was 2 months lol. Some babies love sleeping on their stomach just like adults like sleeping on their stomachs, for some it’s just more comfortable. Once we let her sleep on her tummy, she slept through the whole night. If they can lift up their head, they’re fine to sleep on tummy. ♥️ I know this is controversial but baby will be okay! It’s so sweet seeing Zeke’s BLW journey btw ♥️

Hello It is so nice to see little man smiling and laughing at the start of the day. Lauren you and your better half are doing such a good job of being new parents. Need to ask the sound that is in your bedroom is that a sound machine ? And do u have the link for it? I sleep with the tv on all nite since my husband passed 8 years ago and if I don’t have something on I will constantly get up all hours of the nite because I will think I heard something r someone in my yard. So the tv keeps my mind from worrying. I did not have this problem when my husband was still with me and he worked on the river for 71 days at a time. Since I know he is never coming back now I have so much to think and worry about and maybe that type of sound machine will help instead of the tv. Have a great day. God Bless your little family

Watching this this morning made me motivated to actually get ready for the day rather than just slump through with my 4 month old ❤️

I’m a mama to 2 under 2 (23 months and 10 months) and transitioning to the crib can be hard! I didn’t do this for naps or bed till around 8/9 months. Staying consistent helps a lot! They eventually learn the routine and what to do. It can be frustrating but it gets better!! You’re doing great😌

My daughter is turning 3 months old tomorrow and I remember watching your vlog when yours was around this age, and you found him scooting himself way over on the playmat from where you had put him, and my daughter did that for the first time today and I thought of you!! Hey! Our babies are days apart and hes a boy too!! My son has been sleeping on his belly since month 4 he’s comfortable. I only allow this because he can roll from back to tummy and tummy to back without any worries. I have the Nanit breathing band which puts my mind at ease monitoring him. I believe there is a 5 month leap that they’re going through and i noticed Zeke has been trying to put him feet in his mouth ;) Once he accomplishes all his little milestones sleep should resume back to normal ❤

Our 5 month old has loved his tummy! Best sleep he has is when he’s on his stomach :) I’m with you with the short naps! Have you tried a longer wake window? Our baby struggles to nap long if he’s not fully tired yet!

you can let him sleep on his belly as long as he isint swaddled ☺️ my daughter started at 3 months and i was so scared i lost so much sleep but her doctor said it was fine because she could roll on her own!

I have a five month old and she has started to consistently roll on her tummy at night. I let her stay there. We also have the Newton mattress. It’s just about impossible to keep her on her back unless we stay up all night

Hi Lauryn, I started watching your channel since I gave a birth to my son in April. Your content is very motivational. Thank you for showing your struggle and being REAL. Could you please tell me where you got his brown and white checkered zipper clothes? I love it so much and I wanna get it for my son! Sorry if you mentioned it in your video. I have always heard that once they can roll over, it's ok for them to sleep on their tummies. But always start them off on their back and it's ok if they roll over.

So yes! If he is able to roll over and hold his head up then stomach sleeping is just fine! Just make sure he isn't swaddled to where his arms aren't out. He needs free arms to be able to lift his head and get his face out of the mattress. Other than that stomach sleeping? A-okay! Especially if it keeps him asleep and take longer naps!

How long do you let him fuss/ cry before you go on to give him the binky again??! I’ve been trying to sleep train my 5 month old and he just screams until I end up picking him up or sometimes I can pat him. It’s been very stressful and hard lol so any opinions help :))

You should let them sleep when they do that. They are okay as long as you lay them flat on back. That means they know how to move on their own. My son is a belly sleeper we also have Newton.

Take it from me let him learn to take naps on his own (he's an amazing 10-12hr stretch at night) but naps on me! We are STRUGGLING helping him take naps alone during the day at 7mo

In terms of him rolling over, I’ve heard you should leave them because if they’re strong enough to roll one way, they’re strong enough to roll back on their own.

My baby is 7 months and she rolls over on her tummy in her sleep all the time I just leave her and let her sleep. I have the sealy mattress for the crib and she’s been doing great I don’t move her I just put my head in the crib and listen to her breathe also don’t have a baby monitor that hooks up to Wi-Fi!! Those are the ones people can hack and talk to your child it’s creepy
