I rewatched my favorites movies at least a billion times growing up. Especially, Horror. When I was a baby, Finding Nemo came out in theaters. I went and saw it. I loved it so much that I got up from my seat and up to the theater screen. I just started quoting everything the characters were saying. Like I was in the movie. The audience got really mad, so I was taken home. Then eventually, I saw a Horror movie called: The Evil Dead (1981). Loved it ever since. I can quote movies/shows EXACTLY. From the timing, the tone, delivery, etc. I just found you today. I quickly fell in love with you and your videos. Welcome to the community!

When i was a kid i was really obsessed with dinosaurs, especially the land before time. I had these little books each with a specific dinosaur and I had my grandpa read them for me all the time every time I visited, and I would watch the land before time movies multiple times every day. I had so many of those excavation sets where you could dig out a tiny dinosaur

I’m a moderately autistic woman who also enjoys video games! Anything with deep lore and characters I study like they are religious texts. Never got into Minecraft though. Super Smash Brothers can be a riot with groups of people. I usually play Ness in the N64 version.

Thanks, this is actually helpful. I have ADHD. Don't understand autism. I have a lot of misconceptions which are biased on people whose autistic symptoms seem obvious. I sometimes think people who are autistic are ADHD too. Now, people are claiming that 80% of autistic people have ADHD which makes it more confusing

I got diagnosed pretty recently, and I actually didn’t know that you could have multiple and that they could go away! I think my first ever special interest was The Powerpuff Girls, that show had a grip on me lol. Thanks for making this video!

I also have an obsession with retro games, specifically arcade fighting games. I have controllers specifically for them and learned absolutely everything about every one of them I delved into.

I loved Minecraft when I discovered it one time -I'll be that pocket edition - though before that I was all over Lego themed games. And the OG Lego games Star wars, Batman and my all time favorite Lego Indiana Jones. I grew up a Playstation 2 kid. 😁

My other three big hyperfixations are Scuba Divers (people, not Scuba Diving the activity) ... Then Travelling (mainly Japan, Dubai & Europe) and... Ideologies 😅 that last one is difficult to explain here😂 but my Psychologist told me "I have NEVER heard that a person wtih autism has a hyperfixation on Ideologies and Religion😮......"

I do this with SNES MegaMan X hehe. Still play it now as an adult, started when I was 7 or so.

I would play Super Punch Out and replay and beat it daily. I would learn the combos and repeatedly beat them. I didn’t even try to speedrun I would just play over and over again. I even got a pair of boxing gloves and a bag because of it. This went on for a couple of weeks to months until my parents would unplug it and store it away.

I have a couple of special interests. Some are obscure, some are odd, some are common. I played the N64 Smash Bros too. I also played Pikachu but I also played as Kirby and Yoshi. I have a special interest in a obscure kids show called Baby Einstein. I watched it all the time and I still do. That show inspired to memorize the full names of the classical music, paint in the style of the pictures that were in the show, and make puppets that are inspired by the show. I even sent a photo of the puppets I’ve made to the show’s creator, Julie Clark who complimented my puppets. It might be odd but a lot of my friends on the spectrum have interests in shows meant for a younger audience. I also have a special interest in the songs of Olivia Newton John especially the ones in Xanadu. There’s something about her voice and her outer/inner beauty that made me smile.
