Oh Riah, I'm so proud of you!! You cut off the white part (the border) of your diamond painting after you finish completely. You've improved so much with multi-placers, it's wonderful to see. The smaller sections will definitely help you, along with the better tools ❤ Diamond painting isn't about following any rules, you can do whatever feels right for you, including using the one placer as much as you like. There's no rush to complete the painting, don't hurt your wrist!! Never worry about the gaping, it will improve with experience and all diamond painters have been there. I've been diamond painting for years and am still only comfortable with a four-placer, everyone is different. We love you 🌈🌈

You really don't have to cut off the borders. I only did once and I regretted it. You only need to if you want to mount it/hang it in a way that requires it. 🌈

Love to watch Diamond painting and i paint myself, love your personality!!❤ I definitely recommend the release paper, i even cut it in half for when i feel like doing smaller sections,and washi tape to help reinforce the section im doing and along the border of the whole piece. I use multiplacers and it can be a time saver but my most used is a 4 placer, i use that for 1 placing too sometimes lol i be lazy like that. I use a straightening tip to help fix lines and i use a rolling pin to go over and help squish them down. Oh also the drills might be concave and they won't stick as well as the flats, just a fyi to keep a look out. As for the upside down drills, all i do is shake it till i get as much within the lines and therefore faced correctly, sometimes if i put too much i shimmy it to one side, i have seen someone put a washi tape on a tray so all the extra was at the back/bottom of the tray. Oh also i cut my white border when im done and have sealed it, because im going to frame them. Sorry if that was a bad explanation, hope it helps!

you don't need to cut the white boarders if you don't want to! but the one time i did cut it, i cut after i finished the entire painting. i do recommend keeping the boarder on even if you're going to frame it :)

Keep going! I bought the Diamond Art Club twelve placer tip, I couldn't keep the Diamonds on it as I placed them. Someone suggested putty, but I haven't tried it yet. So, I went back to the nine placer tip with wax. It suits me best for now.

I have circle drills. I found this video really relaxing and I’m watching this in my relaxing time. I love diamond painting. This made me want to diamond paint.😊❤

I didn't know diamond painting was a thing until recently. I think I wouldn't have enough patience for it. I can't sit still for too long so I would have to work on it in small increments.

Wish I did have some tools to suggest. I've been diamond painting for about a year now and really the pen, release paper, washi tape around the border, see if you'd prefer putty or other waxes to the basic stuff you get in the kits... A storage system you like. That's pretty much it. 🌈

Hey girl!!! So my fiance bought me a diamond painting kit and all kinds of things in it…. A spatula looking white thing was in there for straightening the drills after you put them on…he found it on Amazon…also got a pen with a straightener on the other end
