"Babydoll" is cold and a little cantankerous. But, that's just who she is. We'll fire her up and "Hopefully" satisfy some requests. After that we'll show more parts of the project bike.

@The Punisher what's wrong with "being" a man and calling it what it is? I don't even tefer to animals as a he or she. Panhead & Shovelhead engines are very beautiful. Mine is an Evolution FXR and I like it very much, been an excellent engine without any issues since I bought it new in 1992. Your Babydoll is such a sweet looking motorcycle, from the golden years of all American manufacturing. Did you know that Shah of Iran had motorcycle guards in his motorcade and bikes were all metallic blue Harley Davidson Panheads, and the riders had uniforms on, and their helmets were chrome, riding impeccably shining Harleys . Such an amazing unforgettable site .

Great that you mentioned it, you are so correct in getting the "proper" chassis (safe & sound)...I have known many guys that just glance over their frontend and/or frame and start building....frames are under us at 50-70+ mph, as well as, frontend's providing steering in the desired direction, it has to be straight, functioning correctly and 100% safe.

Hi every one, Hi Mr. Mike. I´m writing from Cali-Colombia and i´m an entusiast of old school motorcycle, piece of iron for ever. I did my dream come truth when i bougth an 1953 Panhead, very bad condition because the past owner replaced tank, removed mud guards, the solo seat and anothers things, but was functional, it was here the only one i can find. Now i'm trying to restore it buyin on-line pices, reading the service manual y watching your videos, i don't know if some one do the same like me, but i´m sure that some one watch your videos, that for my is like a Morgan's treasure...Thank you Mr. Mike...

Never run the engine without the oil filter to empty all the dirty oil out of the crank case. That is not the way. Oil pressure will drop to zero effing up your engine. Proper way is to undo the oil return pipe to oil tank . If you want to know how I will tell ya how. Or easier way is to get a scavenger attachment for FXR. It's a great quick tool. U probably know this already ! Cheers.

Bolt on project, no head work but used the same method to douche oil system, through return bag line. FXR's are in such high demand right now that they are stupid expensive, talking 2G's for a used clean frame give or take up to $3500 for a fresh one but once done, Priceless.

I ride these bikes. I try to keep them nice, but they look better i a video than they do for real. At about 80 mph, they look perfect.

Hello Mike I just found your channel. I'm enjoying it. I build Triumps but I've always wanted to know more about Harleys from a mechanics few. So thank you for sharing your knowledge. Stay safe. RMM
