My quick take on the wobbles ,
My good friend ‪@WheelGoodTime‬ made a tutorial which is very informative, between these two you should have a pretty solid foundation for progression.
‪@Tre_Notes‬ I know it’s late, but I hope this helps- this will work on the v14 as well as really any wheel at all.

That video is probably the most 'bang for buck' you'll ever find. Sublimely concise, yet packs in a TON of information, all of which I concur with ! Bravo !

I'll definitely be implementing those suggestions! I get a lot of brake wobbles since moving to a larger wheel.

There are two types of learning, Explicit and Implicit. Riding an euc is very much the later. Nice video and explanation of the things most euc riders will learn. Good info to put in the pocket of new riders still finding the center. Cheers

That acceleration!! The carving when braking looks really efficient, gonna practice that. I always have my feet side by side and i never had wobbles but i never ride in a straight line either.

Man when you accelerate bottom to top instead of top to bottom it goes way faster and feels way safer

Bend at waist less than half of what you bend at knees. Wobbles come from lean and twist in opposite directions. Hips need never be higher than heart. When turning heal of turn direction goes into pedal and out...toes on outside turn rotate into turn and into pedal. ...amazing breakdown. Wear helmet, build a team of pros.

Thank You Johnny. Obtaining a pendulum-like movement. Not limited to moving forward & backward, but also possible to left and right. (2D Vs 3D)With head as the center of pebdulum-like movement. And your breaking technique (last minute) reminds me to ice-skating breaking technique by Twisting our belly. Combine it half done between left & right twist and... Walaaa... carving motion. You are the best bro 😊 (CMIW, sorry for my poor English)

W Mans. It’s crazy because when I finally figured out acceleration and what worked for me, it was foot placement. Also I tuned my pedal hardness down to 50% and my pads were too far forward. I never thought about trying to hug the wheels with my legs. I’ll try that next. I got some crazy wobbles not too long ago. I had to literally jump off the wheel 😂
@johnnygovroom
@johnnygovroom 5 ай бұрын
Yo, just make sure to pump the accelration or the brakes and that gonna really get you ahead, Hugging is maybe not th ebest way i could have said it, but you want to create support angles more than two support pillars if that makes sense... think about the cables on a bridge or angles on a hinge vs something like trying to balance a broom on your palm. Broom on the palm is how most people treat legs on an EUC, the foundation is critically unstable.

Muscle memory is gonna be your best friend but even with the muscle memory these tips will give you control beyond. Wobbles will happen, and you just gotta be ready to iron them out.

Immaculate movement my guy!! what degree pedal angle you recommend and what soft or hard settings??
@johnnygovroom
@johnnygovroom 28 күн бұрын
The angle is normally 0 unless heavy off road down hill or jumping … jumping the mode goes to soft - with a 1 degree forward dip Street , Hard mode zero angle Off road , or down hill - medium/ soft mode with a 1-2 degree tilt back I hope that helps

nice thank you. also, logic would dictate that pads as high as possible increase leverage, but in reality, how is it to set like that ?
@johnnygovroom
@johnnygovroom 5 ай бұрын
Actually yes!!! I ride my challenger pads high , to when the angle bend my knee is about 3inch above the pad. I think this may also depending on the way the weight is distributed in the wheel. But yea for my big heavy challenger my pads are higher to control from the knee angle

You’ll find the relief a lot - better for distance riding and the lift on the front and back of the pedal allows for a lot more input without moving the body so much… Brakes and acceleration on 10-
