My dog, Scratch, a border collie, has learned how to say "Hello" fairly coherantly. We're still in the teaching process, but listen and see how smart this sheep herding beauty is already!

Can y’all stop commenting this stuff on every old animal video? It’s depressing and I highly doubt the owners appreciate it. When my dog passed I couldn’t stop thinking about it and it still hurts years later, I definitely wouldn’t want comments reminding me of it. Especially on videos like these that are happy memories. If the owners announce the passing in the comments or something then that’s different, but just commenting it unprovoked makes the video seem sad.

is your collie very active and need attention all the time? also is your collie distructive when you leave it alone?.. I wanna buy a collie should I?.
@bumponalog50012 жыл бұрын
@@ooffactor She is not destructive and she does love attention. However, we got her when she was only a couple months old so we were able to train her from a very young age. She was very easy to train due to her intelligence, but that intelligence also got her into trouble when she was a puppy. For example she enjoyed chewing the corners of our walls because liked licking the stucco, and she realized that the carpet had texture underneath it so she chewed a hole in the carpet so she could rub her face on the material under the carpet. She grew out of it after her puppy phase though and she is not destructive anymore. Another thing to keep in mind is Border Collies need mental and physical stimulation. She enjoys puzzle toys and one of her favorite games is find the treat, which is when we let her sniff a treat and go hide it in the house and then release her to look for it. She goes outside three times a day to walk and play. So long story short, they take work but their intelligence and loyalty is very rewarding and make great companions.

We had a greyhound collie mix. We taught her to say hello. It took time with training but she was so proud of herself. Soo cute! She distinctly used 2 syllables and it sounded like rerrr--oooo.

So you don't like the thought of their body going through all the stages of rotting until only the bones are left? And in this case, even those bones are shattered into nothing but dust.
@tabassummaisha145121 күн бұрын
@@bojohannesen4352 lol not really. Whenever any of our family member dies, we just recall the good memories we have together and feel upset cause we won't meet them again. Pets are family too. But I don’t think people usually discuss about the rotten body of their beloved one, do you?

My Mother had a border collie cross that i used to say "yeah" to as a positive response. Then when walking in the nearby woods we came to a path that divided so i decided to give her the choice of route by pointing and saying "that way?" to which i got a clear and audible "yeah" at the second choice.

Aww, It's so nice to watch. My border collie can also do cool tricks. It's amazing how quickly they learn. Takes only a few tries and they understand what you want, but sometimes don't want to do it, as it's just too new and scary for them, yet they still try.
