They need to take less time on cautions and go green more faster. A caution shouldn’t take 20-30 mins for a single car spin.

On the Bubba issue. It was intentional and not to congratulate. And not to just say I didn’t appreciate that. That was anger. Anger that can’t be controlled. He has an issue emotionally. Over and over again he has proved it.

We were there Kenny. The rain ruined this race completely. Especially for those who paid insane prices for seating. They should have started the race before 4PM. A shortened race was a huge bummer. Worst in person race I have ever been to.

Met Kenny as a kid way back in the day at Sears point. He was as nice and talkative with his fans as he is in these videos. Some stars can be rude or wont make conversation but Kenny is exactly as you would expect a great guy. Been a fan ever since because of that.

"Coffee with Kenny" sent me here... I thought the race was a blast to watch. I hope they keep going back. Big fun watching them try to control those heavy cars in the wet on the narrow streets, and they once again proved their great skill.

Watching from downunder(NZ), luv SVG offcourse but super rapped to see Alex Bowman take the win, he held it together and made the most of the conditions, much deserved for him.

Xfinity race was 100% great. Todays cup race was also great. SVG was great. Bowman and his team did a great job managing the race.

These cars on the streets with these drivers is outstanding. Back in the day I was not a fan of any type of road course racing, now I love it.

SVG was clearly hit and shoved into the wall by Briscoe Kenny. You could see and feel the impact from his onboard camera. Shane was on course to win that race if he hadn’t been taken out by another car.

I'm here from New Zealand because I follow Shane's racing . I now follow nascar and am learning more about it because of that Chicago street race. Waa never a fan of ovals , never understood it. I now have a better understanding but road and street racing is where it's at if you want to appeal to everyday folks as well as the die hards. I rembered this Wallace blokes name from old skool nascar which is why I was interested in what he thought of SVG and was more than impressed with his views on him , the sport and this race in particular. I have now subscribed to Kenny's channel and am fast becoming a fan. Shame weather made things a bit unpredictable but dosnt mean the event is a bust. I hope to see more of these races . Am fast becoming a Kyle Larson fan too so be good to see more of him on street courses. He should jump in with SVG at bathurst in a v8 supercar next year .

Im new to NASCAR, now im a fan thanks to SVG.

They got to start local yellows and no yellows for stage ends. At least at a street course it takes way to dam long to get going after the pace car comes out. My god 20 minutes they rode around to end the first stage. If they could get that under control it’d be ok.

My take: If they do this again, they need to start at a normal time. Now 430pm eastern time. They also need to utilize LOCAL YELLOWS. The first half of the race was filled with yellows for something as 1 car spinning or stalling out. SO get the race started at 2pm eastern and have local yellows to keep the race moving.

No racing on Monday. They need the streets back. At almost $300 a ticket i highly doubt theyre losing money. I was up there yesterday and there was no lack of people. They do need to move up the time earlier for next year

Kenny let me correct you on the rain situation. Chicago had gotten more rain than what we received here in Joliet, I live 20 minutes from Chicagoland Speedway and we did have a passing shower and that was it,track would have been dried and race would have ended with all laps completed. I like the idea of the street race but what I don't like is that it is not budget friendly for us fans in the lower middle class that would love to see the race up until you go online to purchase a ticket and you almost fall off your chair seeing the price for a general admission ticket and then you factor in traveling to the city,paying for parking (Not cheap because of the city tax),inflated prices on food and drinks (Again city taxes factored in). Nascar needs to find a way to reduce ticket prices substantially and they may draw in much larger crowds of fans that would like to see the race in person rather than watch it on TV. Take it from a fan that never missed a race at Chicagoland Speedway where it was affordable. 2025 will be in my opinion the last street race in Chicago because it's only a 3yr deal that was dumped on the lap of the current mayor of Chicago and he didn't want this. Maybe I'll get my wish and it will come back to Chicagoland Speedway and I'll be a happy fan again. 🤷‍♂️

The race should have started at noon, like the good old days, These late starts are just stupid and always have been. All daytime races at any track should start at noon, period! Night races, dependent on length, around 6pm and these are the track's local time regardless of the east coast.

SVG is the real deal, I like what I see. Alex earned the win, he drove well with good tire strategy, loved it. Maybe SVG could lead some self help sessions for the drivers on managing the red mist. I love racing in the rain ! no race on monday because those streets have to be open to get workers to work , business open . I live in Denver and in the past ,we had the IRL's Denver Grand Prix a street race , and the contract stated that all streets had to be open to general traffic by 1:30 am on Monday the day after the the day of the schedule date of the race. If i'm recalling correctly I remember them saying during last years broadcast in the rain that the agreement between the city of chicago and nascar "required" all barricades to be removed and the race course completely open in time for rush hour monday morning.

Bubba is a problem, we all saw it with KL a driver half his size , he needs anger management before he hurts someone. Like you said everyone was hitting everyone, Bubba always likes to look for an excuse as of why he can't drive .

I’m local to Chicago and a big motorsports fan. It was a good weekend both races were great regardless the rain Sunday. Just wish maybe do the street race and go to Chicagoland speedway cause the mile n a half package is really good. Not sure about racing on Monday up there lol woulda cost big bucks I’m sure.

It makes no since to have a late evening race at a racetrack. That doesn't have lights. If they had the race a couple hours earlier. The full race could have been done even with the weather delay

I was a little annoyed when SVG got hit, but the race was good, they'll keep ironing out the details, I like the street courses, Totally fine with them adding more.

NASCAR nor race sponsors do not control the weather. I say if they are gonna run street races, go ahead with the development of the rain tire and install headlights on the cars so that darkness isn’t an issue in finishing the race.

I was glad to see Alex Bowman get the win. But I believe the rain tire needs to go away. No reason to make these races more dangerous.

I like the street race..I do think it needs to be started a little earlier just due to the race history of weather issues.But the weather is the weather.As far as Bubba goes a steep fine would be appropriate..especially since the window net was down.

They need to get NBC to cover earlier or get USA network to finish covering the street races. USA network showed the practice and pretrial runs and did an awesome job with that. Sunday race should be no later than 1pm CST. If they would have had the race earlier on Sunday they would have been able to finish the race before the rain arrived. The Chicago street races kept me watching. Loved the competitiveness in the infinity race this year. I hope they will return next year and keep building the fan base worldwide and helping City of Chicago revive the downtown with all the negative crap going on in that City. I hope the unlikable new City of Chicago mayor will allow them back and not ignore how much money the City of Chicago made, economically helped his City and the great publicity to as well for tourism for great lake front view, museums, great food etc. I Hope there is at least 2 more years in the City of Chicago City street racing. After 4 years in 1 city then take it to another Midwest city. Milwaukee Wisconsin would be good they have a beautiful lake front view as well for a course. FL AL and TN seem to get all the racing and not every Midwest fan can travel to those states from the Midwest. We realize economically it cost more to put on a race and I hope our economy would improve in 2025 things not costing so much to be able to lower ticket prices between $50-89.00 a ticket or bundle of 2 tickets for $150.00, family of 4 for $ 200.00 with kids age 10 or older, under age 5 should be free with 1 adult ticket with Nascar to get generations of families back watching racing. They can make it up with more fans, families attending in person. City of Chicago is a sports town we love our sports. Hope for a 2025 return and drivers return and bring on competition even more to be challenge by SVG who brings it every time to beat him on this course on a dry course makes them be able to add speed and more passing technique in the race.

I am waiting for Dave Moody to eat that crow pie . I suggested that NASCAR go to a street course years ago was told I'm bat poop crazy what am I smoking they can't race 3800 lb cars on the street. Well Dave that's 2 😅 great race and no way to keep the roads closed today (Monday) to race it was a nightmare as it was to get around. Unfortunately some of us deliver there .

Like I have said before didn't know if street racing would work for NASCAR; but I do like it. It sucks that it has rained two years in a row, though. I just wish they would go back to an earlier start time. [ 1pm ] Same with Watkins Glen with the afternoon pop up showers around the Great lakes and Finger lakes regions during the summer. Would have a better chance to get a full race in. But who knows...Gods will.

The network carrying the race locally did exactly what they have done on lots of races, interrupt for local news or weather. There are 49 other channels doing weather but they not only interrupted but spent 10 minutes doing ads for links, qr codes & facebook pages to follow - then with 10 minutes to go, did it all again. They suck!

I had Bowman in my Fantasy Lineup because I'm gettin low on picks, Every time I pick Larson, He Crashes, had SVG in the garage and he outscored Larson. Gibbs Reddick and Chastain and still got 185 points...lol nobody cares...Jeeeeeggs...

No complaint about the race, only point I would make, there was plenty of good weather early in the day. If the start time had been moved up they could have run all the laps since they were able to race in the wet conditions.
