I am using all of the tools in my tool bag. I just wrote a covered call on ULTY today knowing the price will drop tomorrow on ex-div date. And I will reinvest the dividend and covered call premium. I will try this strategy for a while and see how it goes.

I did watch an interview with Jay a few days ago. He said they are switching strategies with the goal of maintaining the share price (nav) and keeping high yields. So, I'm hanging in there for a while. Not all positions in the ETF are bad/risky. Some have some very solid financials. Hope Jay produces.

There is not enough price appreciation in IWMY during this IWM run up. same with QQQY and JEPY during run ups . I seriously decreased all of these positions a few months ago . ULTY still doesn’t make sense to me , that thing will be reverse splitting before we know it .

I bought ULTY then sold it in the same month. It didn’t take long for me to determine it’s a terrible ETF.

I’m now reinvesting ULTY distributions to lower my CB and then compound. I think that once the Fed drops the rates many of the underlying stocks will do much better, not to mention a Trump landslide in November.

ULTY closed today higher than on April 15th. Time will tell. But paying,$1 per share on a stable nav at ,$15 per share is a steal. FEPI pays $1 per share and costs $55 per share. Perspectives ... All the best.

I like your well thought out and pragmatic viewpoints. You definitely have a good understanding of all the aspects of how these funds work. I also appreciate how you bring up the downside of some of these funds, as both optimistic and pessimistic viewpoints are very important when it comes to investing.

I am holding and adding, but I will drastically reduce my additions. I like the mid-month payout.

I think strategically buying on ex-date and doubling down on dips is more important on ULTY than any other fund. If you bought on the dip the last 3 months you would’ve netted between a 5% - 12% return per month. That’s between an 80 and 280% annualized return. I’m finally in the green on price and in total return its in line with ymax so far. If management plays this right it could be a powerful fund assuming you buy at the right time.

Problem I see with ULTY, is that even at a bullish market, it is very difficult to make up for the dividend payout every month. In June, it payed out $1.13, dropped from $15 to $13.87 on the ex date. It made up 53 cents within a month period. So, it is less likely to maintain it's value over the course of time. Eventually, yield needs to come down to 50% range or the price will drop until it finds stable value to make up for the dividend payout every month which will be likely around $7 dollars.

Dude, it's paying out over 80%. I'd say cost average it along with a lot of other efts. It pays better than YMAX and YMAG and it's nice having something that pays in the 3rd week. I have Defiance for the 1st week, 2nd and 3rd week I have Yieldmax paying, now I need some stuff that pays the 4th week. For now I've settled on QDTE to cover the 4th week, of course it pays every Friday averaging $1 a month for between $5 and $46, it's holding the NAV really stable. Just don't put all your eggs in 1 basket, that and getting paid dividends every week I think is ideal.

I like the change in environment! I'd rather go with a different high-yielder that can get some price appreciation like NVDY, MSTY, CONY, etc.

From what I observed, any options etf that have more than 7 stocks are going to be affected by NAV erosion a lot more than options etf that focuses on 1 stock. ULTY is invested in 15+ stocks at a time and it's NAV is running straight ⬇️🔻

ULTY is a unique fund in the YM family I think the managers are still tinkering with the strategy and hopefully they will figure it out. Share dilution , Nav and price erosion are winning . The 1.25% fee is the highest compared to the normal 1% My view is that YMAG and YMAX are the strongest funds with diversification where if say the bitc funds struggle or they lose some contracts in a month the diversification will minimize downside and having a 40% yield any investor would sign up for 40% year end returns. I think the switch has helped. Usually they are down but it's up 6% in the last month. That's a lot. Also, almost everything paid out less this month because volatility was down.

You can see how the etf or stock is doing by looking at the adjusted close on yahoo. Adjusted close Feb 29 was $13.25. Dropped to about $11.29 April 19th, but today is $12.80. So the trend has been up bigly last 3 months.

ULTY isnt making any sense in its NAV price because only 9 percent of the pie is down . Everything else is up .

I have an certain amount in ULTY, seeing the nav declining doesn't worry for me. Once I will reach my ROI (in few months), I will reconsider it. I'm not a fan of YMAX and YMAG either.

Personally, I have seen the NAV of ULTY hold stronger these past 2+ weeks. Zega definitely seems to be doing something different.

I'll pass on ULTY. They'll probably be more NAV erosion. coming. MSTY, NVDY and CONY are more solid plays.

The NAV declines every month. The dividend declines every month. Seems like there is a pattern developing. I would love to be in this ETF if somebody could make a convincing argument for the fund.

ULTY got killed today. It is down bad! (after hours)😮 I even got a notification from the “hood”. Currently trading for $13.41 (ouch!) But yes - I do feel the same way. AKA - disappointed!
