Then I thought of you, and l suggested to the other Moms to look at your records and see that you also didn't win every time, but you never quit. You kept your spirit up. You are so inspiring to young boys who feel like they failed if they lost. I think you will motivate them.

Why is D2 wrestling alot of qualifiers dont have alot of matches? It seems they only wrestle conferences and post season? Is this due to Juco and then coming in for 2nd semester to compete?

Hey Cayden I don't know if you'll see this but I hope you do. I was wondering how do you build a better wrestling mindset? I've been wrestling for six years now and I barely got a positive record this year including forfeits. I'm able to go toe to toe and I'm about 50/50 with my practice partner who went to semi state this year, but I can't perform in a real match. He made it to semi state and I didn't even win one match at sectionals and my coaches and I agree that I have a poor wrestling mindset and I wrestle spectacularly at practice but my coach says it's like I just forget everything when I'm in a match. So how can I transfer the way I wrestle in practice to a real match? I only have one more year and I feel like I have the potential to be good but I just have little faith in myself, so how do I go about fixing that?

Ouch!! Back to back NCAA tournaments!! One thing being a 2x AA myself I will say the most important thing is that post season focus is a thing. No social media/ less focusing on videos becomes a big difference between having a aa status and not. The most important thing isn’t the videos down the road but the trophy hanging on your wall. Just something to maybe put into play for next years tournament. Good luck in the future.

I remember, when past alumni would come in the room and talk about enjoying the moment. Many of them were willing to cut off their left arm or sometimes left reproductive organ., lol. Just to get another match. Now, speaking from personal experience, it couldn’t be further from the truth. I watch all your stuff you’re a hard worker good things are gonna happen just wrestle hard have fun and good things are in store!
