Hey, Doc! Thanks so much for the anniversary shout out! We had a good time in Maine! Got home late afternoon on Friday. Had light rain in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts on the way home. Hit CT and ran into a TORRENTIAL downpour!! Can't believe I'm gonna say this but, I hope you all got the rain we got! You all need it for the growth of your lawns! Doc, if you had an orchard ladder, you could place it pretty much anywhere and not have anyone holding it. Trimming bushes/shrubs, hedges off of the houses is key! Ants and other bugs will use them as super highways to get into your home. I have to get up on my roof as soon as it dries off and cut some branches away from the eaves. Very nice work on that job, Doc! It looks really nice! Gives the property that polished look! Keep it REAL! TRUTH! Peace. Hope you guys have a great weekend! God bless. Hi, Sarah!

One thing that I've learned is patience when trimming. Less can be more. If you trim to much, it will create a ton more work.

Very true brother! You can always take a bit more off but you can't put any back on.

Doc, i have a very long yew hedge to trim, i use string with line leval...on others lots of up / down ladder and dozens of visual inspection...👍

I think the string is a good idea but I just rely on my eyes. No doubt the visual inspection is the most important part.

Doc have you tried the tri pod ladder by Hasgawa? You can put it anywhere, doesn’t matter what grade the ground is, it’s actually a Arborist ladder 👍 great looking work 👍👍🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🍉🍉👌

Thanks for this video, I don’t normally do shrubs often. I have begun learning more about trimming them. I always go from mowing to dump trailer or dirt work. I’m trying to add more tools to the tool box to bring in more money. Question, do you recommend trimming in the heat of summer? I always have in the fall, maybe a quick touch up in summer.

Mine should have been done in the spring but so far behind because of rain. It doesn't hurt them in any way at all. I recommend spring and fall in you can. I do fall cleanups on almost all my properties. Hedge trimming is great money 💰👊💯😎

To tarp or not to tarp in mulch. I use a tarp.

This hasn't been mulched in 3 yrs. So for me I want to get the old out and set up for next season. Makes it easier on me in March. I am not a tarp fan
