Also here’s a little story, you know how there wasn’t a lot of technology back then, and they had to use binoculars. Well the guy forgot the key to the room, and if they had the binoculars, they would have saw the ice berg and rerouted. So thanks a lot guy with the binocular key.

Fun fact : my mother knew a survivor of the real titanic and he use to tell her stories when she was a little girl I just found out he also gave her a golden rose pendant that was his mother’s the last thing he had from her

I know that this video is a little older, but if you're still expanding your collection, Definitely go to the Titanic museum in Orlando, FL! The attraction tickets are made to look like the actual boarding passes, and on the back of each one is an actual Titanic passenger and a little bit about them. At the end of the experience you get to find out if your given passenger survived. Very cool piece! I keep it on my book shelf!🛳️⚓💙

I remember being in 2nd grade reading a book about the Titanic, and my heart started literally pinching and racing. My mom took me to the hospital and I was put on a heart monitor for a few weeks. My grandmother started telling me I’m a reincarnated passenger who didn’t survive. Every time I read something about the Titanic I get chills and my heart starts doing the same thing. It’s crazy.

The most expensive and authentic thing is probably the movie reel. The dress, jewelry and hair clip probably are expensive because of the craft it took to replicate but its not from the set. I assume most of the real props are in museums.
