for me "One Day" is actually the best romance movie I've ener seen (and trust me I have watched almost every single one of them). Every time I watch it my heart begins to hurt. It is so realistic, the love between Dexter and Emma is so pure, unique and the movie shows a love story I imagine experiencing (begins from a friendship to something complicated and hard to define, stops after a little bit and then evolves to a lifetime commitment). They are what they call soulmates. No matter in which life-phase the two characters are, they love each other and they think about each other. The viewer can actually feel this love. This movie fills me with so many emotions. I could never imagine that a movie could have such a huge impact to me. No matter how many times I watch it I always cry.

Pride & Prejudice 2005 has to be one of my all-time favourite movies. I am not big on romance but I LOVE that scene. How Darcy WALKS to her home at the break of dawn when he very well could've taken a carriage soon after discovering Elizabeth didn’t deny to his aunt she wouldn't refuse a proposal from him. How Lizzie was restless after she had come to the realization her feelings for Darcy had changed and she was in love with him. The way her expression oh so subtlely changes as she realises the figure approaching through the fog is not a figment of her imagination and it is really him. The way the fog fades as Darcy gets closer to her. The way he stutters as he is unable to fully express the magnitude of his feelings when he once again puts it all on the line and confesses his love. The way Elizabeth accepts his proposal by stepping towards him, caressing his hand, tenderly kissing it and saying "your hands are cold" (the saying, "cold hands, warm heart" comes to mind) as the sun rises in the background illuminating them both making it appear as if they are one entity. And the contrast between the dark gloom prior to his declaration to the bright warmth of the sun as they embrace. All the symbolism with the hands, atmosphere, lighting etc. just UGH! This fucking scene, man 😭😭😭

Here is my romantic story: I started to play the bassoon in my 7th grade band elective whereas my future boyfriend played the trumpet. At our concert, I asked him if we could talk privately to him. I told him I liked him, and without saying a word, he kissed me! I am now a bassoon player who dates a trumpet player. Story of my life :D

Titanic will always be top of my list. The flying scene is peak romance, but I also love when she tells him she's getting off with him when the ship docks and he says, "This is crazy, Rose." And she says, "I know. It doesn't make any sense. That's why I trust it." And when she jumps out of the lifeboat and back onto the sinking ship and they run to each other and she says "You jump, I jump. Remember?" Gets me every time. I think I may have to watch it now. For the 287th time lol

I use to Wonder what love was all about and in my late forties I've found I fell in love for the 1st time in my life That was over 20 years ago I lost him last year, he died. I don't think I'll ever feel anything like that again with anyone else. Someone might tell me that I could fall in love again but I don't think it'd be the same. That was something too special, that emotion so strong so overwhelming and deep it actually becomes everything. I miss you John.

Call me delusional or just being weird ..but have u ever through its hard to be in love ?..sure we’ve had crushes and thought someone was cute but the thought of being IN LOVE is just sensational and scary. Just being with that one person who makes u feel so happy when your around them but terrified it will be destroyed. For me the word “love” doesn’t just mean romance love with two complete strangers but the feeling of safety and happiness..the feeling of warmth when your with someone you actually truly love. 🥺 Nowadays when you’re in a relationship, saying the word “I love u” is a required thing Bc that’s what people think they need to say but haven’t thought of what that word means. People use it as if it is a basic thing, the word love is idk ..it’s scary and lovely, there is a Bible verses that quotes about love but I can’t remember it.. if you guys may search it up that that’s basically what I mean. 😅 If you read through this far than all this might be very confusing to you but it’s hard to put it to words for me, I may just be 15 but idk I can overthink things and just search for a deep meaning to it. Pride & Prejudice is my all-time favorite romance movie. I also really love A Walk To Remember, The Notebook, and Notting Hill. I also really love the live action of Cinderella. It was really well made. I still haven't watched Love, Rosie. I'm not sure if it's still on Netflix. It sounds like a very good movie. I'm a sucker for the best friends to lovers trope. It's one of the best.
