I have funny story for you since it was on your list of things. Back in 2010 my Dad and I went in halves on a Skeeter Boat, really nice bass boat fully rigged out for bass fishing etc. It did not have a radio, SO, I got one of those speaker boxes that you could plug the old I phone into it. It had the huge plug for the old iPhone 3 charger, it would plug into the speaker box. We was fishing 2nd trip out, I caught a well let me back up, I casted, a really long cast, right when the lure hit the edge of the water, something hit it so hard, when I was setting the hook, I broke my Bill Dance (yeah I know super fancy ROD hahah) off at the handle. so my reel and rod goes into the water, I dive over to get it, I Catch the top half of the rod and the line etc. Obviously whatever it was is now no longer pulling on my line, so I lost if, broke the rod. Got it reeled back in and I go to open the rod locker and when I do in my excitement, I Pitch my speaker box and phone off into the water, I dive after it, and was able to save my phone, hahahaha, SO yeah, I have been looking at options for a radio in my boat now. hahahah.
