Hi Jerry, Great video and very informative. I'm building the Revell 1:400 kit which I purchased due to the Titanic and submersible being in the news currently. I'm doing it as a tribute to the 5 guys that lost their lives.. Really enjoying the build. Best Regards Keith

Lol I built the No 10 on the list 🥹 the jigsaw Titanic and it was well enjoyable 👍 I love the detail of the more craftsmanship of the finer Titanics but my eyesight wouldn’t allow me the privilege of building one of these beautiful boats ❤️ your video was well enjoyable and many thanks 😎🤟

The 1.200 trumpeter is number 1 especially with all the aftermarket parts.

Good video. I built the Academy 1/350 version and added photo-etch from Tom's Modeling, as well as, lighting. So many parts do not fit and you won't get much help from the instructions. I understand the later version of this kit had improvements making construction a bit easier. Retrospectively, I should have saved up for the Trumpeter. I think that will be my next Titanic kit.

Thank you very much. Bye the way, I do agree with you. It seemed that every time I got the top of the line (at the time) TITANIC kit, a new and better one would come out. Your going to love the Trumpeter Kit. I hope you eventually get one my friend.

I am currently working on the Trumper Kit. I have the Amati kit as well, but have never built it. It looks very difficult to build and since the windows are decals I put it aside until I can afford the photo etched kits that one can get for this model.

I agree. The windows being decals were discouraging to me. I fully intend to light all my Titanic Models but that makes it extremely difficult. Best of luck with your build!

Great Video Jerry , I think it would have been a little better if it's like some other videos where you have a list below the video in the Comments of the names of the model kit & scale size & a link where to buy them , Numbered from 1 to 10 with the most liked first , But again I think that info can be added at anytime , Keep up all the good hard work .

Hey, you forgot the Lego model! Hehe! Well, actually, that model might suprise you. I have it and it's really easy and fun to build and actually pretty detailed also. I am thinking about buying the Occre model, because it is a wooden model and because of the price of about €250,- which is affordable for me. An important note (I think), most of these model kits are missing 2 collapseble lifeboats. There were 2 on the officers housing next to the front funnel, which all models have, but there were also 2 collapseble lifeboats next to the front 2 lifeboats and those are missing with most kits. At 13:20 you can see that Billing Boats has got it just right. Agora and Trumpeter have it wrong, which is a shame because there weren't enough lifeboats already. And the centre propellor had 3 blades, not 4. Lego has got that one right. ;)

You know, I just actually found out the LEGO one existed. I like the way it separates to show the different sections in between the decks. I will never be able to afford it though. Perhaps I will do an update video on new TITANIC kits and include that one. You know, I really don't care for the OCCRE one, only because the windows are decals and cannot be lit without cutting them all out. They do seem to be coming down in price though.

Maybe you can find a 2nd hand someday, that will drop the price immensly. I've looked and the Amati kit and you're right, that one looks much more detailed and accurate. Thanks for the video!

j'ai peut etre mal regardé la vidéo 😁mais il me semble qu'il manque le model au 1/400 de chez academy édité en 2012 pour le centenaire avec plusieurs plaques en laiton et photodécoupe avec sur la boite une vue de l'arrière du Titanic à quai à Souhampton ; un model introuvable maintenant hélas; j'ai parcouru plein de sites internet et rien

Je ne connais pas le modèle auquel tu fais référence. J'ai référencé plusieurs des modèles à l'échelle 1/400 de Revell, Airfix et Academy. En fait, l'édition premium de l'édition limitée 1/400 Academy que j'ai mise au numéro 5

Im close to finish the same model hachette amati 1:200 scale. It is so difficult to built a lot of parts doesnt match and instructions sometimes arent clear. You have to plan alot before making any step otherwise you will find out lack of accesibility or poor finish quality. Good luck with yours :)
