I lived a few kilometers outside Tripoli, Libya in 1963-66. I was 11 years old when we moved there. I loved Libya as a child and feel fortunate that I was there. It was during the reign of King Idris. My late father worked for Mobil Oil.

Fantastic video of Tripoli. I miss it so so much!. Was working at Ras Lanuf 1990-2000, and Tripoli from 2010-11. Amazing country, and fantastic people. I hope that sense prevails, that the guns and gangs disappear, and that Libya becomes all that it can be.

2 years ago during geography, we saw a map of happiness in our books. It appeared that Libyan people were one of the happiest in the world. I asked my teacher about it because Libya was in a power vacuum. My teacher replied to the question: "these books are from the time when Gaddafi was still alive"

There is no new video in 2018 after the NATO war and Dash Look at the streets of cleanliness and not much of the effects of destruction and disruption of tower projects. All that appears to be under the war is an armed militia belonging to me. Terrorists now rule only a country that is worse after the death of the king of the kings of Africa. Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, may God have mercy on him, but Tripoli is still the bride of the great river and the Mediterranean Sea.

And I thought this was a hellhole because people thought removing Gaddafi was a bad idea. Thank god Gaddafi is gone.
@BobIoNix4 жыл бұрын
Your hate factor speaks volumes about your rabid psycopathy in your choice of lexicography: buzzword :"Hellhole" only those who live in one, know what it is, and in spite on NATOs turd mission to turn Tripoli into one, the only one who ended up in one Hellhole, was the serving US ambassador like POTUS Kennedy, because like Kennedy he died being tormented by military CIA psycobots, as for the video let me offer insight: most of the roads and infrastrure you see here was all built in Gaddafis time by a multicultural teams of workers and engineers from Germany to Gambia, and I'm not a Gaddafi supporter, but comparing, living in the world's third largest mega city megalopolis, Delhi NCR, the Libyan people have always conquered adversity, hate and even the largest Desert on Earth, the Sahara, and will always grow, love and prosper stronger whether Gaddafi version7trillion presides, or Dwight Eisenhower or even Yitzhak Rabins granddaughter Princess Sophia, Libyans will always live on!

i dont think you can.. I live in germany and every year we go to libya for at least two times. But soon we are approaching 9 years in germany giving us the opportunity to obtain the german passport however we were confronted that if we get the german passport we wont be allowed to enter libya.. and thats whats keeping us from getting the german passport even with its large benefits and opportunities
