I have an upcoming online zoom workshop on this wed July 15 at 1pm ET where well get into chord tones and guide tone lines! This workshop is geared for intermediate players who know their major & minor scales. If you are the type of beginner who is interested in growing into this stuff than by all means come join, all are welcome. Open to all instruments!
In this 2 hour long workshop ’ll be teaching you how to craft melodic lines using common tone voicings, how to use guidetones as a tool for learning new songs, how to begin to add chromaticsm into your playing using chromatic approach tones.
If you struggle with creating cohesive lines when you improvise or struggle with playing chord to chord instead of a longer musical phrase than this workshop is for you!
