I was literally thinking of this very bit of yours earlier today, when I was attempting to be a bit arsed myself in getting a few things done around the house, and then had to sit down because I started feeling faint from doing so. This is not a whinge, it's just an appreciation of the fact that you gave me a good laugh--without even having watched this clip (which I did just now!)!--at a brilliant bit of humour from an overall excellent set! One of Aisling's finest moments, of course this woman is a total contrast, she's a grafter and made a huge success of her life. Observational comedy, the key to success. I really had to push myself to write this comment. If it was any other comedian I doubt if I could be arsed.

Perhaps you don't make excuses not to do what you just don't feel like doing. Aisling's thing is not "being polite," but rather, being honest: "I just really can't concern myself with that...." Like the former US first lady's jacket....
