I cried when i watched this!! I cried I cried! Because 4 years ago I started loosing my hair in spots. It was itching, burning, and then falling out. I ignored it, wrote it off as stress and start wearing protective styles like crochet braids (think thats how you spell it). My hair would grow back in most areas, but then it would fall out again. This was in 2013. During this time I was getting my BS, working 2 jobs, and taking care of a teenage son. I felt like I didnt have time to go see a Dr, so I didnt. A few months ago, I decided to cut all my hair off. When I done that, I noticed all of these scars in my head from where my scalp had been itching and burning.It alarmed me, so I made an appt with my dermatologist. She diagnosed me w/scarring alopecia and told me my hair would never grow back. They gave me the option of taking steroids but I decided to do more research before resulting to putting chemicals in my body. I decided to go get blood work done at my primary care physician a few weeks after that because i was laying in bed constantly, I felt ill, i felt my heart beating out of my chest, i was cancelling events with friends and family, i felt horrible, my ankles were hurting all the time, i could barely walk, i could barely get out of the bed. Mind you Im only 30 years old! My doctor never called me with any results so i thought everything was fine. A few days after doing the blood work, I was at work at my desk and all of a sudden I started sweating, i was dizzy, my heart was pounding, my vision got blurry, and I was nauseated. I left work and went to the hospital. When I got there the nurse told me that my blood pressure was 195/105!!! My bp is never over 120/80! I was confused. I dont have a history of this so they just wrote it off as stress because I told them that I was starting grad school and I was nervous. I had an EKG and an xray of my heart. Everything was fine, they checked to see if i was pregnant (NOT), they also took my blood ( my liver, kidney, thyroid, ldl, hdl, red blood cell count, white blood cell count was fine), but they never checked my Vitamin D levels. They told me to go to my regular Dr again and follow up so I did that. When I called to make yet ANOTHER appt, the nurse asked if anyone had called me to let me know my lab results from my previous visit. I told her NO. She told me that my Vitamin D level was a 5 and that i needed to come in so the DR could tell me what to do next. SO i did.... she told prescribed me 10000 units od D2 once a week for 3 weeks, and then 5000 units of D3 OTC daily after that. Also I was not drinking nearly enough water. My urine showed I was dehydrated. WOW, the first week that I took the Vitamin D, I felt like I was a new person!!!!!!!!!! I really thought I was going to die, or I had a heart condition. My doctor had even been talking about testing me for Lupus. I have now been taking this Vitamin D for A few weeks, and I can even see my hair filling in. My scalp is no longer itching or burning and my hair is no longer falling out. All of the symptoms that you described hit very close to home with me. Im sorry for writing a book but this is my testimony and Im happy I found your channel. I hope you are well!!!

+Erica Davis. Girl!!! You about to make me cry reading this!! Wow, just wow! I totally understand what you went through and I'm glad you're okay! I know what you went through was scary, especially being a mom. When I posted this video, I honestly was very afraid and still was just scratching the surface on what was wrong with me. Like you I was busy, busy, busy with life. Always taking care of everyone else, putting myself last. Raising my teens, being a wife, working and going to school full time to get my barbering license, etc. etc... I was grabbing food on the run, getting little sleep and running around like I had a battery in my back. I began to notice subtle things, but like you didn't really pay them much mind or make the connection. I woke up tired even after a full night sleep, then it became hard to sleep, then the aches and pain, the palpitations. My friends began to notice my shortness of breath during conversations, I just chalked it up to a little weight gain. My hair began shedding like crazy, and I thought it was from the gel for my wash and go's. I was at home, when I was rushed to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack, my heart was beating out of rhythm and I couldn't get my breath. I honestly though it was the end. I stayed in the hospital for a week and diagnosed as dehydrated, magnesium and potassium deficient, but nothing about the vitamin D. You know the rest from the videos I'm sure. I'm much better today, but still recovering. I never imagined it would take this long! I found out that I was severely iron anemic along the way as well, which I just received infusions for a couple months ago. I've taken this all as one huge wake up call, and began to put myself and my life back in order. We can't take care of anyone if we don't first take care of ourselves. I've been being more thoughtful and kind to myself and my body, learning what I can along the way. I thank you SO MUCH for your comment, it really made my day and let me know that I am on the right path with this youtube thing. I hope you are recovered and feeling amazing by now. Stay in touch and keep me posted with your progress. Have a beautiful day sis! 🤗☀️

Indeed's World Indeed's World yes! I'm taking care of me now? That scared me to life! I almost passed out at my son's open house for school. I even thought it was my blood sugar one point. I am over weight, so of course doctors would tell me to watch what I'm eating. I've even loss twenty pounds in a few weeks. I'm not craving sweets at all either. I saw on another channel that the girl felt like she was "heavy". Sometimes I would feel like my legs were being pulled to the ground, and I would get numbness and tingling sensations a lot. I actually still get the tingling sometimes. I avoid the sun and I'm lactose intolerant. Dairy milk makes me sick so I don't get a lot of vitamin d naturally. It's hot down here in North Carolina so we run and hide!

GM! Yes, I lived in Charlotte for a little while, and yes it sure does get hot! But if you can find a way to get some natural vitamin D, I swear your body will thank you for it. I spent last summer basking in the sun, until I got super dark, lol. I could feel a difference after each session, natural is always better. So since you are near the equator please take advantage of it. Right now I'm in upstate NY, where its cold and gloomy for most of the year, so I will be relocating again to a warmer climate. Between 10am-3pm is the best times to maximize natural vitamin d from the sun, it's at it's peak then. Throw on some shorts and a tank top and if it too hot do intervals, 5-10 minutes in the out for some minutes, then back in... if you're schedule allows. Also, I found great relief for my restless leg, numbness and tingling, by taking magnesium at night. Do you currently take magnesium? I can't drink milk either, but no worries, there really isn't that much vitamin D in it as we were lead to believe, that's more marketing. Your on the right path with a good supplement, however do make sure you are taking a quality multivitamin too so that you are getting the other supplements your body needs as well...

My vitamin d levels was at a 7. My sister is a nurse and she told me she was surprised I could even get out of bed. My doctor put on 50,000 IU's of D2 for once a week for 2 months. And I maintain at 8000 IU's a day of D3. I feel like a brand new woman. My hair was so thin and shedding and once I started on Vitamin D, my hair is so much healthier. It's a wonderful vitamin!

Hi & Happy New year! Yes, Vitamin D is very underrated. I really don't know why there isn't more info in the forefront about it. Your sister is right, at my lowest, I could barely walk and unable to work for months. That pain was no joke. My hair shed like crazy, and I looked an absolute mess, even in this video, lol. I'm getting back to my usual self now, focusing more on my body than ever. I will never take having good health or getting sunshine for granted again. One question, does the 8000iu ever make you jittery/anxious? Just curious as many people have experienced that. Thanks for commenting. Wishing you the best this year! ☀️

I found a few things that helped me to some extent. (1) Vitamin D with Magnesium - AnuMed Cream 10,000 (2) Sperti Vitamin D Lighbox. Since late 2011, I've been suffering from what I thought was Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia & Lyme disease. The symptoms get worse in winters. Blood test indicated that my Vit D level was dangerously low at 5. Pills didn't seem to help much. Fortunately, I have found the 2 remedies. Hopefully, I'll survive this winter. Let's see.

You guys PLEASE make sure if you take a vitamin D supplement or are eating a higher diet with vitamin D MAKE SURE TO TAKE K2 ! K2 helps to get the vitamin D out of the wrong places (studies now are showing all the people taking vitamin D supplements for everyone’s deficiencies are getting calcified arteries because the vitamins are not getting to the right places and it’s causing heart and clot problems) the K2 helps keep it out of your arteries and put it in your cells where needed and can be disbursed properly. This is becoming an epidemic so it’s important to get the word out . Blessings and shalom , hope everyone is feeling better / good !

I found out about my severe vitamin D deficiency in March and in two months my levels went upto 33 ng from 7. I am aiming for 55ng.I started with 4K IU of d3 then went on to 10k IU along with magnesium, fish oil,Vit k2. It was life changing! I also had to correct my severe B12 and iron deficiency with shots and infusions respectively.I took a zinc + b complex capsule too. I also made some dietary changes by limiting dairy, gluten and sugar. I am a different person now. I used to have extreme hair fall, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, poor balance, bone pain, weak teeth, numbness in my toes, lack of concentration , poor memory, depression, anxiety and brain fog. My career, social life, relationships everything was suffering for so many years. I feel like over 75% of my problems are gone. It didn’t take too long, only a few months for this entire transformation. Please do not ignore nutritional deficiencies . I hope this helps people 🙏🏼

This really helped me feel better and it’s great to know the heart thing wasn’t a “me” thing but a vitamin D deficiency thing. I was literally in the hospital so much last year trying to figure out why I was having these major heart palpitations. My heart would be beating at 130 at rest and with exercise 195, which was so weird for me but they ran tests (not blood test) and said nothing was wrong. So I just kept living that way until my normally thick hair started falling out, literally my hair has always been some of the thickest hair and it got down to a 1/3 before my hair dresser noticed and was concerned because in 2 months, 2/3’s of my hair had fallen out! When I got my vitamin D levels checked, I found out my levels were at 4!!!! 4 when deficient is considered anything below 20! Anyways, I felt so alone and wanted to cry all the time about it, but it’s nice to know there’s something that can be done, thanks for sharing 💜

Mr. MAJESTICXIII.Blackstruggle77, whew, that was a long name to type, lol. Yes, we definitely can have a lack of sunshine, especially living in a climate that is not conducive to our biological needs. Lack of sun can effect anyone regardless of skin tone. It's not a lack of sunshine, it's the suns inability to penetrate the melanin which is great because that means you age significantly slower; however, bad because you can't get as much vitamin D to function properly

I have been dealing with thyroid issues for almost 4 years now. At my last doctor appointment in September when my doctor did my blood work, l was told l was deficient in vitamin D. I was researched for more info and l found your video. The same symptoms you described, l was having the same so l was prescribed the very same D2 vitamins. When you can't really explain to your family/ church family what your going through it had me feeling a down so l thank you for posting your video.

Hi Nina! Thank you for commenting! I know how what it feels like when you're going through something and people just don't understand. Even today when I speak of vitamin D deficiency, I still get strange looks because it's something that just isn't commonly heard of. As long as you know what you're going through, just focus on that and what you need to do for your body to heal. Then share the experience with those that come to you for help, because they will definitely come. We never know how God may be using us in a situation to help others, so I just choose to focus on that. And those who don't get it, too bad for them. Hope this helps! Have a beautiful day! ☀️😊

+Jennifer Jett I so understand. I kept things kinda light in the video, but it was really a tough experience. I just returned to work today, after being off since Thanksgiving! My issue was the irregular heart beats, I actually thought i was having an heart attack! Rushed to the hospital & was told it was my blood pressure. Smh. I had to do a lot of googling, before I realized it may be vitamin D deficiency. I had to ask my doctor to check my levels, only to find it was that low. I also found out that I have iron deficiency anemia, so look into that too. I try hard to stay healthy so that really threw me for a loop, but thankfully I'm getting back to normal, the body pain & palpitations are subsiding. I wish you the best and am glad you found out about your deficiency. Get all the sun you can and keep me posted of your progress. Feel better soon! :)

So guess who else has a vitamin D deficit? Yes me! I have been dealing with this for some years now and only relying on the scripts and sunshine to help me. I knew nothing about the possible magnesium issue so I will seriously look into it! I'm glad you brought light to this issue because I know several frustrated females struggling with this problem. Thanks sis, can't wait to chop it up a bit more about this topic when we have time. Love, Vanessa

+Vanessa Renee Thanks for your lovely message. Yes sis, when we are deficient in one thing, we more than likely are deficient in another area. I was originally diagnosed as Magnesium & Potassium deficient, which gave me all those heart problems. But during that time, none of the doctors mentioned anything about being Vitamin D deficient! It took me to research for myself, then request a test, only to find months later anything about my Vit D deficiency. Magnesium deficiency can hinder vitamin d absorption, and vitamin d deficiency uses up available Magnesium! Go figure! They all work together to keep us healthy. And check your B vitamins too, B6, B12 and so on... Hope this helps you and your friends. Talk to you soon!... 😊

After two weeks my body is slowly healing. My joints are getting better and my energy. Before getting tested, my body would hurt so bad that I could barely get out of bed or even walk. Praise Jesus Christ he led me to ask the doctor to do lab work and they found out the problem. Thank you Jesus l!!!! It’s important to get a full check on our health to stay healthy! Oh my goodness! Your symptoms are like mine... I am so relieved to know what my problem is. It’s very frustrating when you are always sick and tired of being sick. I stay in house a lot so no sun. I dont eat right but I try to from time to time. Anyway.... for the past I’d say 6 months I have noticed pain in my joints and especially my hips area. Let me start by saying that I started taking biosil and this other stuff ugg i cant remember the name but it was a powder. Anyway, after the first week i had this hip pain and i stoped taking it and returned the product.. I though it was these products that caused this. Well since then my pain in knees at time and my back pain and other joint pain returned. I haven’t been to doctors in about 2 years and started getting afraid and decided to go for bad news. Well, I didn’t tell them about all my pains afraid they would think i was making up stuff. They did a blood test and low and behold a few days ago i was told from the blood work that i was extremely low in vitaD and that my b12 was high. I was taking b 12 because i was always cold. My hair was thinning and breaking off and when I combed it it was aways in the comb. i was tired all the time, but could only sleep about 4 hours and wake p early in morning. i started feeling anxious and down a lot. Well this is day 3 of me taking the vitamin D3 as recommended 800IU per day. I hope I start to feel better real soon and that my hair grows back.

Lauren Ellerson, Hi! Thanks for commenting! Yes, your symptoms are definitely like what mine were when I was first dealing with this. I had a lot of joint pain, mostly in my knees and back. I was so fragile that I took a little fall and fractured my elbow, just like that! The fall was so soft, that I didn't even know I was hurt until the pain set all the way in. I've never used biosil, but I was having issues with my hair shedding, to the point that I decided to cut it all off. I experienced the tiredness and fatigue too, yet unable to sleep also. When I began taking magnesium at night, I noticed that it helped me fall asleep and relax. I'm glad you went to the doctor to get yourself checked out, and I'm glad it was only this vitamin D deficiency that you were diagnosed with. I hope you feel better soon! Take care and keep me posted with your progress... ☀️

Hi there! I absolutely loved your videos. I am very glad you are doing good after this long journey fighting against vitamin D deficiency. So, I'm just starting mine journey against that. I'm on my second week taking D3 10000ui daily. I couldn't understand why so much pain in my bones and that severe muscle weakness, fatigue, heart palpitations,brain fog, faint spells, dizziness, stomach ache, dry eyes, dry skin, thin hair, never knew in my life everything was connected. So, as I said my second week taking 10000ui daily, here's my experience : I noticed in the last few days the heart palpitations are getting worse, it's getting to a point I can't get any sleep, aching bones, but the heart really concerns me. I believe my body is not going good with the high level daily, I started to take k2 and magnesium as well.I'm so frustrated with that situation, many times hopeless 😔 feels like I'm dying and nobody can help me. The fatigue kinda got better. But appreciate for sharing your story. Hopefully things will get better. God bless you. You're gorgeous ❤

Hi Joelna! Thank you so very much for watching and commenting. Im sorry to hear the pain you’re going through with this deficiency. Trust me I know how you feel. Yes it is quite the awakening to realize how connected every aspect of our bodies are! I know you will heal in time. What helped me most was changing my diet, and making a conscious effort to get as much sunshine as possible. Like you I tried the K2, but it made me awfully sick with chest pressure, no appetite & just a sense that something was really wrong. My cardiologist told me stop taking it as it can cause some real problems if your body really doesn’t need it. It’s a coagulate, which thickens the blood making the heart work harder. So despite everyone on here recommending K2, I’d stay away from and ask you doctor if you need it. Regarding the pain, taking magnesium, and soaking in Epsom salts really helped. And for my palpitations I make sure to eat enough magnesium and potassium rich foods. Lastly, have you been checked for anemia? There seems to be a connection with iron anemia, fibroids and vitamin d deficiency. I had all three. I hope you feel better soon and I hope this helps. Keep me posted! Have a blessed day! ☀️

@@tawanabellamy8686 Yes I did get better finally. It took a long time for the bone and muscle pain to stop, and over two years to get my vitamin D levels up to 30. It still drops down low if I don’t take 10k IU daily. (Take it with vitamin K2 also.) I was very vitamin D deficient for a very long time so I think I had some damage that I can’t fully recover from. Crazy that my life was so negatively impacted by this. Financially, socially, -everything. But I’m much better now. I use a UVA UVB bulb light (from pet store for reptiles LOL) a few times a week. Works great but very dangerous-easy to get bad sunburn and damage your eyes if you don’t know what you are doing.

Hey... my nurse practitioner is the one Who tested me for the vitamin D deficiency. I was prescribed A vitamin D3 supplement 50,000 IU's per week. She also informed me that she had the same issue in her severity of vitamin D deficiency what is worse than mine and that she also took an additional vitamin D3 supplement -Which I am also doing (I am taking a 1000 IU tablet in addition to the original D3 prescription). I look so much better I feel so much better! I was having shoulder pain and I went to a, what I believewas, in orthopedic doctors office (I don't know if I'm saying it right), and they diagnosed me with "frozen shoulder". In my heart I just knew that was not right I was having issues with my shoulder where I could not move my shoulder even to do a shrug-my left shoulder just be specific. Then I started experiencing-Or should I say I had been experiencing left arm pain chest pain pain in my elbow area pain in my forearm pain in my digits specifically my left hand so everything was just radiating from my shoulder down to the last two fingers on my left hand. (Sorry for the grammatical mess) Long story short I was placed on the vitamin D3 supplement toll to get an additional supplement and I was also placed on a B 12 supplement. In hindsight, I realize that working indoors sucks!for people of color it is actually harder for us to absorb the sunrays for the nutrients from the sunrays so this was another piece of information that was pretty interesting to me. I think I need to do a video as well because I do feel like a lot of people are experiencing this and many people are so oblivious to what's going on with their bodies in how to fix it

Wow! I've experienced a ton of pain in my left shoulder, upper back, and chest all all on my left side! I'm in PT for it now, it was so bad at one point that I had to physically try to pull my left shoulder down from my neck as it was so tense, it constantly felt 'stuck' up towards my neck. It's much better now, but I do know that all of this has to be correlated, because I've never experienced any of this until the deficiencies. I notice as I change my diet and lifestyle more, the better I feel. I'm thinking on revisiting the 50,000iu, but they make me feel so shaky, jittery and have insomnia. You should definitely do a video on this, I had no clue how many people it would help when I first started posting my story. I've learned a lot an am much better, but the information on youtube from others really helped a lot.

Hi from the UK thanks for all the Vit D videos, they have made me feel like I'm not alone and kept me going through some bad times. I finally found out I was Vit D deficient at the end of January with a reading of 11ng or 27nmol. I don't know how long I had the symptoms before this but I was really ill in November 2016 with chronic fatigue, dizziness and muscle pains. It's a long journey back to health with this and I think as your levels start rising the body repairs itself which can cause a lot of pain in your bones, this is what I am currently going thorough. You're right about magnesium , I'm trying to get as much in my body as possible through baths, oil, food and supplements. Getting my Vit D checked next week and also going to pay to get my magnesium level looked at. Would love to hear another Vit D update video about where you are now and what has improved, I can't wait for my bones to calm down! All the best :-)

Hi Richard! Thank you for commenting! I'm glad my videos were helpful, you are definitely not alone in this. When i first started taking the vitamin D, I actually began feeling worse, I experienced a ton of bone pain and thought that I was doing something wrong. This actually deterred me from wanting to continue taking the vitamin D and caused me to go on and off the supplements. But, like you, my bones and body may have been feeling the effects of healing, which was painful in itself, I didn't understand that at the time. So definitely stick with your regimen so that your recovery may be speedier than mine. I will be doing more updates on my deficiency very soon. I took a break because I was still ill, as I found out that I was chronically anemic as well. I had no energy, looked and felt bad, so I just decided to take a break and try to heal from it all. Now that I'm under the care of a specialist and beginning to finally feeling better, I will make more updates in the next upcoming weeks. Thanks for your patience. Please keep me posted with your progress. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a beautiful day! Take care! ☀️

Thanks very much for your kind words. Yes, I've been doing the same stopping & starting the supplements as the bonepain was so bad, I cannot tolerate more than 3,000IU without having really high anxiety, muscle cramps, insomnia and high blood pressure which makes me think I have low magnesium. I can't believe there are all these people out there taking 10,000 + units. I would have probably had a heart attack! Did you find this with higher doses of Vit D? I hope your anemia keeps getting better, all the best :-)
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 7 жыл бұрын
OMG! Yes! This is exactly what I have been experiencing to the tee! I took myself off the prescribed 50,000iu because it made me fell so awful. My anxiety was through the roof, to the point that I was struggling driving, I just did not feel safe behind the wheel. If you saw my morning commute video, I mention that this is the reason that I began commuting for a few months. My doctors kept trying to push anxiety meds, but I refused. I didn't want this to get listed as an anxiety issue, I wanted them to get to the root of the problem. After lowering my dosages on my own, I tried OTC D3 in 5,000iu, which was still too much, then dropped down to 2000-3000iu, which i noticed I was able to tolerate and the anxiety almost completely went away. A few co-workers also struggle with anxiety, one who has the attacks on the way to work quiet often, and she has been taking 50,000iu of vit d for almost an year! So I personally believe high doses of vit d may trigger anxiety in some of us. I just finished a two week session with a holter heart monitor, because of all the palpitations, and fast heart rhythms. I don't know why or how, but I believe its all connected to my body being out of harmony. I've experienced insomnia, fast heart rate while sleeping, leg cramps, muscle tension, bone aches, extreme shakiness, irregular heart beats, fatigue, just the worse that I've ever been in life. Smh, thankfully I'm finally healing, but this experience was one long rough ride...

That's a relief to hear, I'm in a Vit D group on facebook and they kept telling me I needed to take 10,000 per day!! I took 8,000iu once and I think I had multiple panic attacks, can't remember much about it, just remember my heart racing and feeling like I was in another world for about 2 days! I can't imagine what's it like to have taken 50,000 in one go! Yeah I'm currently taking about 2,000iu which seems ok for me and I go to a local sunbed place once a week which has special beds fitted with lamps which help to produce Vit D. Going to get my levels checked this week. Thanks for all your advice. I'm trying to treat it as a healing journey and hopefully help other people like yourself once I'm better. I've certainly learned more about Vitamin D, magnesium & the human body than I'd ever thought possible! One day I will look back and laugh at this episode...:-)

Definitely share your experience. If it were not for youtube and others sharing theres, I wouldn't have discovered this deficiency as my doctors at that time never checked me for it. I never thought I'd get this much of a response, or help anyone when I began posting videos, but I'm glad I did. I feel like a vitamin D consultant now, lol. I look at this whole experience as a wake up call that I needed, to pay more attention to myself, and I recommend that to others. Also, I tell everyone to listen to their bodies, because what works for one person, may not work for another. This is why I never suggest how much of anything to take, I only speak of what works for me. We're all figuring this thing out, but thankfully we have resources like YT and the internet to help these days. I'm sure you will look back and laugh too! Stay positive & keep pressing forward! 😊

Glad to hear your taking D3, and be sure to get outside often to absorb as much "natural" vitamin D as possible. We can absorb up to/around 20,000iu daily depending on how much time in the sun & skin is exposed. So it's best that we get outside whenever possible to heal faster. This is especially true for Black people, as our melanin is a natural sun block, so we need more exposure to the sunshine!☀️Feel better soon!

So since 2015 I've been dealing with vitamin d deficiency. In November 2015 my body started aching really bad like I had the flu. I went to the ER they gave me a flu test and it came back negative. The next day my body wouldn't stop shivering. And I started feeling pins and needles all over my body. I went back to the ER and told them my symptoms and they told me it was just anxiety. They prescribed volumes and gabapentin. That made it worst. My body started twitching all over then I noticed this running water feeling down my legs and I felt like I had sat in something wet but I would be dry to the touch. My body also have this buzzing feeling that I can't get rid of no matter what I do or eat. I've had so many test done back in the pass and been to 6 different ER rooms. They said everything was fine. My primary care doctor at the time even ran test on me and didn't see anything. My new doctor did test on me last week and my vitamin d level is a 13. She prescribed me 50,000 d2 I just hope these symptoms subsidized soon. I'm so sick of feeling like this. I'm beyond depressed

Hi Lakendra! I'm so sorry to hear of all that you've been through. I'm happy that you finally got a diagnosis and beginning to get to the root of your symptoms. A lot of doctors don't test for vitamin D deficiency unfortunately. If it weren't for finding a video on youtube that matched my symptoms, I wouldn't have requested to be checked for vitamin D deficiency. Like you, I kept visiting the ER, and primary doctor(s), and they all kept telling me that everything was fine, but it wasn't. Our bodies don't lie to us. Also, like you, I was told that I had anxiety, but I didn't go for that and made my doctors keep checking me until I found out what was going on with my body, Turns out I had a magnesium and potassium deficiency, (which is related to vitamin d deficiency), I was very anemic from low iron, in which I had to have injections to raise my levels to normal, and I was vitamin D deficient, my level was a 9! I felt horrible. I began to feel better after getting tons of rest, changing my diet, taking supplements and getting as much sun as possible. Just a side note, vitamin D3 is best, not vitamin D2, you may have to purchase it over the counter, but it works best for our bodies. Meanwhile, I'm wishing you a full recovery. I understand the depression, but try to keep it positive and do as much as you can to heal your body. Keep me posted! Take care! ☀️

The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat diet and microbiome and sleep and vital nutritional deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related KZfaq presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction. I know it’s been five years I hope you’re feeling good I was diagnosed severely deficient I’m starting 50,000 a week unfortunately I took it at night and then I saw where you said you don’t sleep I should’ve taken it in the morning. I wanted to add one thing I know tanning beds are not good for you but if you can’t get out in the sun you’re busy life they do give you vitamin D if you go in a tanning bed.

Hi Katie! I hope you are feeling better by now. I took vitamin D in the daytime, but I know those that take it at night. So it really just depends on the person and how your body responds to it. I was thinking about trying a tanning booth, but never got around to it. Maybe I'll give it a try this winter! Thanks for the suggestion! ☀️

Very helpful! My son is suffering from Vit. D deficiency; his symptoms include bone and muscle pain all over, heart fluttering, apnea, participation, extreme tiredness, vertigo, anxiety and frequent panic attack, and insomnia. We are trying out 4000 IU Vit D3 + Vit K daily. The most helpful is to take liquid Vit. D before bed time, that works like magic and helps him sleep through the night.

Thank you so much, I just got a call. I feel frustrated and overwhelmed. My vitamin D level is a 8. I gain so much weight, I beat myself up over. I be so tired and my body always ached. The weight gain is what really got me because its something I am not used to. I always been a small girl all my life and now I am unhappy. No I am not depressed just unhappy with this weight and vitamin D deficiency plays a major role in weight gain. I didn't know if I should cry or say at least its nothing major. I am only 24 and as I continue to read when taking the Vitamin D3 it helps lose Stomach fat.
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 5 жыл бұрын
!Hi Britany! Thanks for commenting! Yes weight gain can be frustrating, but at least you know it’s something that you can loose and get back to the size you desire. Not feeling your best can definitely cause unhappiness, trust me I know first hand. But you’re on the path to recovery and that’s is awesome. My level was a 9 when I first found out, I was in so much pain, I literally thought I was dying. What this experience did was open my eyes to getting my body and life in harmony. I’m still a work in progress. What I can suggest to help with your frustration is remember that everything you’re experiencing is all curable. Unfortunately several people I know experienced illnesses that unfortunately were not. So even on my worse day I try to remember to be grateful because things could be much worse. Anyhow, I’m wishing you a speedy recovery and I hope you begin to feel better soon. Keep me posted! Have a beautiful and blessed day! ☀️

Basically I went to the er because I was fatigued all of a sudden around the start of November. Thought it was my acid flux so I guess I was scared and thought it was my liver. Got tested with a ultrasound and they said it was a normal fatty liver that I need to lose weight and take anxiety medication. I still felt fatigued and went to a doctor had another ultrasound and said it was nothing. Prescribed me anxiety and antidepressants (never took) went in again but was having brain fog and memory issues with fatigued. A ct scan and nothing came up and prescribed more anxiety medications. Then I went in again because I was so weak I slept for 8 hours and was drained by 4 hours, I was sweating a lot. I was losing hair. Turning pale. My heart would beat fast bp was up the roof. My skin was dry. Muscles hurt. Having nightmares and night sweats. Was so depressed and stressed I couldn’t work. They I shot myself with b12 shots and started eating fish. Then went to another doctor and tested for vitamin d my levels were at 13 and the doctor shrugged it off and gave me d2 I did research and got on d3 with k2 and magnesium supplements. It’s only one week since I started but I’m feeling kinda better. I hate how America is and the healthcare system they want you back in that office to prescribe you with antidepressants. My eyes were also blurry and I couldn’t even think straight or laugh or smile. I’m glad I got a paranoid brain. Ppl please check your vitamin levels if you go to a doctor and they give you a CBC scan and tell you that you are healthy. Doctors legit thought I was bipolar and a hypercondriac

Thanks for sharing! I can relate to a lot of what you've stated. It's definitely unfortunate that we live in a culture that we are pushed toward medication, and that some doctors rather push antidepressants/anxiety meds, than taking the time to truly resolve a patients health issues. I'm glad that you are aware, and did what you feel was best for you. Our bodies have reactions when it is not in harmony, to let us know that things aren't quite right inside. Knowing your vitamin levels are truly important. Thanks for commenting and I hope you feel better soon. ☀️

I don't know why I'm just seeing your comment. I understand how rigorous working can be on your body at this time. It was very hard for me to keep up most days at work, and honestly hard to just get out of the bed and get ready for the day. It was really that bad. The only thing that worked out for me was, I was working a very flexible, freelance type job, so I was able to take off days that I didn't feel well, and work when I did. Had I been working a 9-5, I would not have been able to successfully do so. I hoped everything worked out for you. And to anyone else going through this challenge with work, look into doing things online, or part-time, or freelance if able. It was a very tough spot to be in financially, so hopefully your employer understands. ☀️

Girl!!! Same experience!!! I suffered massive hair loss, body pains, lethargy....etc...etc!!!!! My Doctor kept dismissing my symptoms and I demanded a series of blood test. She said that vitamin defiency has nothing to do with hair loss, body aches-etc😨😨😨😨😨 I am not a doctor, but I'm well informed on issues such as this because of extensive research on why I feel like the balding-walking-dead (literally)..I'm so glad I don't depend on doctors with limited knowledge on the operations of the body! Advice: Do Your Research !!!
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 7 жыл бұрын
+ChasingHeaven1975 Yes you are so right! Doing your own research is a must! As well as making sure that your doctors do the test you request, especially if your insurance covers it. I had to switch doctors for this very reason. My current doctor is ok, but the nurse practitioner is the bomb! If I sneeze wrong she will order test and send me to a specialist, lol. I always say that the doctors are here to help add to what we are already doing for ourselves. And yes, vitamin d deficiency causes all sorts of issues, bone pain, hair loss, palpitations, some really serious things. Have your anemia checked too if you haven't, hemoglobin is stupid low a 9, and the two issues together really knocked me off my feet. Thanks for commenting, and have an awesome day! ☀️

did u experience tingling sensations?
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 7 жыл бұрын
Yes, both in my arms and legs. I also had fluttering/palpitations. Vitamin D deficiency can cause a lot of uncomfortable sensations, but also keep in mind that if your Vitamin D is low, then there may be other things that are also off track in your body. For me it was my iron & magnesium. Magnesium is used as vitamin D is converted (metabolized), so be sure to have your magnesium checked to see where you are, especially if you are supplementing vitamin D because you will need to restore your magnesium too, in order to recover properly and not create a magnesium deficiency while trying to correct your vitamin D deficiency. Tingling could come from the vitamin D deficiency, or low iron or magnesium & potassium abnormalities. Have your doctor check for everything possible to get to the bottom of things...

It didn't take long for them to resolve either so that was a good thing. I did it by simply taking vitamins and eating beef again. I hadn't eaten red meat for over 20 years. The problem in the Black community is vitamin D deficiency which over a long period of time will product some horrible ailments. It is due in the inability for UV rays to synthesize Vit D due to Melanin which is an effective UV blocker although longer time needs to be spent in the Sun to get small amounts. Medical researchers believe that Black people suffer from Diabetes Heart Disease Hypertension Respiratory Diseases as a result of this deficiency including survivable cancers which often prove fatal in black people. I believe that dark skinned people should be tested at least twice yearly or more to possibly avoid the ailments that dog the community.

Des Taylor, Agreed! And I'm sure there are so many more ailments in addition to that. I've always noticed a difference between the places I've lived, sunnier places I've always felt better than when living up north. Looking forward to change of environments soon! ☀️

Correct. A lot of illnesses they are saying are "hereditary" are actually autoimmune disorders caused by toxins we are eating and using and vitamins/mineral deficiencies.

Hi! Again Indeed, Can you please elaborate on your gurgling noises like how it actually feel? And did you feel all this symptoms everyday?
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Tejashree! I don't experience them anymore. But when I did, it was a weird feeling that would gurgle, along the left side of my abdomen going upwards. Kinda hard to explain. I felt them quite often, probably daily or close to it. It went on for a long time, like months, but they eventually went away. I've had my spleen and pancreas checked, but everything was ok. Only issues were gerd (acid reflux), the vitamin d, and iron anemia, so It could've been a combination of each of these. I've noticed a great relief in my body as a whole once I got my iron deficiency under control and changed my diet...

Just Re, Hi & Thank you for commenting! Yes, vitamin D 50,000iu can cause some people side effects, although most of what I read said it doesn't. I haven't experienced the dizziness, but it makes me extremely anxious, and a few other commenters on her seem to get anxious while supplementing as well. That's just an observation I've noticed. I'm glad to hear your feeling better. ☀️

I recently just found out that my vitamin d level is a 13 so just like you my doc prescribed me 50,000 IU of D3 to take once per week. Now my symptoms are: blurry vision, terrible headaches, hearing sensitivity and terrible brain fog which makes me anxious. Did you have similiar symptoms?
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 5 жыл бұрын
The Punisher, Hi and thanks for commenting! Yes, I definitely had issues taking the vitamin D, so much in fact that I've discussed my inability to take the high dosages. Currently I only get my vitamin D from natural sunlight, enriched food, and a daily multivitamin which only has about 1,000 iu. Anything above 2,000iu makes me super jittery and causes anxiety and insomnia. I made that observation and personally chose not to take the higher 50,000iu dosages. Some people have no problem taking it, I know others like myself who just can't handle the supplement. Maybe you could talk to your doctor about your symptoms and to maybe see about taking a break, to see if you have any changes in your symptoms.

I’m praying that you’re still replying to comments form this video. I just took my fury’s dose of d2 yesterday for my first week of 8 and I’m feeling kind of weird and I saw that you only took one dose. I’m wondering if I shouldn’t take the following doses and switch to d3

Hello! I've since taken the 50,000iu in both forms and had no major problems. I felt weird at first, but as the weeks went on, my body got use to the dosage and I began to feel better. I hope this helps☀️

One more question to ask , did u felt like any issues with taste, or like not having food?.what i notice is that the vibration mostly happens when I sleep, it gets shaky.Also feel numbness in my left hand and leg, knee weakness , feels like my back bones crackling and neck feels tight. As u mentioned the gurgling noises are just horrible , I get them everywhere. Plz reply thank you.
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 5 жыл бұрын
Hi again! I did experience lots of the symptoms you are dealing with, but I don't remember having issues with taste or food issues. With that said, some of the things I found out along my journey was that I not only had a vitamin D deficiency, but was also dealing with improperly addressed iron deficiency anemia, and was magnesium and potassium deficient at certain points. What has helped me the most, it changing my diet to eating more fruits and vegetables, juicing, making smoothies, and I personally even had to return to eating beef after 27 years of no red meats. I take magnesium at night which seems to help relive the muscular issues, but the hugest turnaround for me was when I seriously resolved my anemia. This is why I first suggest getting full bloodwork done to see what is deficient and/or going on in our bodies, then we can go forward from there. It may not only be vitamin D that is effecting you. Reducing stress is also another major thing, and I became really stressed during the times of trying to figure out what was going on with my body. And i'm only going by your name here and assuming you are female, (if not i'm apologize), but don't underestimate hormone imbalances, even slight ones that happen from our cycle, which go hand in hand with anemia, even if its only slight anemia. I really hope this helps and that you get the info you need to help you resolve it. At the end of the day, nutrition plays a huge role in all of this, I had to find out the hard way. Keep me posted..

Just watched your video I can totally relate to you vitamin d is not a nice deficiency to get I had so many problems with being low on this vitamin I began experiencing hair loss and itching and dry skin everywhere and dizziness on a constant basis followed by high levels of chronic pain and Anxiety attacks and feeling suicidal and depressed, and getting stomach cramps and having no appetite what so ever and another symptom I have experienced is excessive sweating like hot flushes and hormonal imbalances its been a nightmare for me these symptoms are very scary I thought I was dying I eventually rang up to see my doctor took a blood test and he rang me a few days later saying my vitamin d levels was very low so he them prescribed me a prescription for 10,000 ius for 30 days Ive been on this dosage for 6 days now I still have slight dizziness and mild anxiety but its not bad as it was before so im on a 30 day vitamin d 10,000 for 30 days them my doctor told me after completing 30 days supplementing with 10,000 ius take 5,000 a day hope I start to feel better soon I will never let my vitamin d levels this low again it takes time to recover and heal but I know I will get there.

Hi! Did anyone feel like you are shaking from inside,like constantly. I checked my vit d levels 3 weeks ago & it was 9, i was prescribed 60,000 iu of d3 once a week. I also experience vibration when I put pressure on my bones.
@indeedlove
@indeedlove 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Tejashree Ayre! Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, yes and yes! I experienced that personally, the best way I could describe it is as if when sitting in a car, with the engine on, but not driving, just in idle... that slight vibration is what I felt constantly inside. Unfortunately when I explained this to others & my doctor at the time, it was as if no one understood what I was saying. smh. I experience it still but not as often. When it happens, I usually will begin taking my magnesium supplements again, and focus on my nutrition. I noticed that the magnesium really helps me after a few days, then the feeling will subside. Maybe magnesium could help. Also, make sure your iron levels are good, iron anemia can cause some weird sensations too. Just overall make sure you eating the best when this happens, and see if cleaner eating will help. Then note it down for yourself, so you can remember what you did, if it happens again. Keep me posted with your progress. I hope this helps! ☀️
