I did have to relearn a lot! I worked very closely with my doctors however and they created a path with my medication that suited me as a vocalist and gave me time to work each month and slowly grow into the voice to be more comfortable vocally. It was still a very stressful and often very sad process looking at it from a vocalist point of view as some months I couldn't sing at all and was just voice cracks everywhere. However, the path has served me very well and gave me lots of time to grow into my new voice comfortably!

no, you cannot! you can do voice training, but hrt effects are not reverseable

Yes, it is possible but it can be harder than the original HRT, it can also be a bit dangerous. Remember that the first HRT messes up the patient's hormone balance, so doing it a second time to reverse the process *could* actually screw it up. As any medical procedure there is always a risk but also ways to mitigate. Obviously it also depends a lot on the patient. In any case, it is quite rare for trans people to ever want to go back to their birth sex. After all, why would they want to go back to a state that made them feel uncomfortable with their bodies in the first place? So for now we can probably just say goodbye to any hope for new Toad Sings videos 😥 But let's also say: Congrats melancholiaah for your transition! 😃

i won't want to, it's really sensationalized that trans people detransition very often and are full of regret. while i'm sure some do, that isn't the majority of the community and it is a really sharp sword we as a community face a lot. i have dreamt of this since i was a child, this voice isn't one to be reversed, but it's the voice i was always meant to have. i will never want to reverse what i worked so hard to achieve.
