I really enjoyed watching this video! Daegu seems so fun. I especially loved all the music in this video - you are always on point! Very interesting learning how Catholicism came to Korea in a unique way! Ahhhh I def want to start saving and planning for a trip to Korea within the next year or 2! Every video you make is just pure art!

yesyesyessss! i suggest taking the faster train though hehe i wanted to save money so it took a long time to get there but you can actually get there in like 2 hours!!

You're honestly living my ideal life (traveling to cafes alone, enjoying local music, surrounding yourself with plants and nature, discovering new things) and I honestly can't wait until I graduate college and get myself shipped to South Korea. This was such a cool vlog! The churches were so interesting with all the Korean art. The cafes you brought us to were adorable! It's so fun getting out of Seoul with you, seeing these unique cities with so much character. The art and architecture in Daegu are so cool. Great vlog!

Jooahloves Yess! You have to visit Daegu if you can! It's a lot smaller than Seoul so you can get around very easily and the atmosphere is a lot cozier and relaxter. Eventhough Seoul has a lot to offer, the people there are very nice and you have everything you need to live right there!

oh man, I don't think I've ever been to daegu and it totally looks/feels like my speed/vibe. Doesn't look to be filled with tourists and you get more of that local flare. Love the brick pavers too!

I literally came to work almost an hour early so i could run and wait at my desk for 8 oclock for your video to be posted. It may just be my favorite video on this entire website. You showed our city so well and I love it so much, and such a long video you worked so hard. You did such a great job. I sat here refreshing the page on my phone and computer waiting for the video lmao...just so wonderful. I'm so proud ; - ; such a great job. Oh finally ive got time and good wifi to watch this vlog!:) Daegu looks so nice. My husband says its boring city and its nothing there. But he says that probably cuz he is korean and he says that about every korean city haha but well, i say the same about cities in Slovakia :D but watching your vlog, Daegu looks really nice! My mom is from Daegu and in the mid 1960's she worked at Camp Henry as data entry clerk, waitress at a restaurant, and an English choir member at a U.S. military church. American people love the Korean people so much. Although my family lives in Vancouver, Canada. My mom still has memories of Daegu. I lived in Pebble Beach and Emeryville, California.

I love Kim Kwang Seok, my two most favorite songs are "Stand up" and "Painful love is not love". The song "Stand up" helped me get through some of the darkest times. In one of his performances, he said that one time he was feeling so down and wanted to just end it all but he eventually got through it and wrote that song. How tragic is that his song helped others to continue living and yet he ended up committing suicide. Give it a listen when you feel depressed.

Hi Cari Do you suggest a side trip if we go to Busan from Seoul - then sidestep to Daegu ? We plan to stay 2 days in Busan. On the way back from Busan - maybe stop off in Daegu for a day trip. Is Daegu small enough to do for a few hours?
