you should make your bed at the end of your morning routine so that it can "breath" and can get rid of all the bacteria that you've acumulated during the night, if it's not cold outside and you can open the window it would be even better, so that it get super fresh!. Always loving your videos

Every time I watch your videos I fall in love with your hair. It's full of life, shiny,strong 😊 Now I'm washing my hair with water and using some coconut oil when necessary but it's kinda moody 😂 A good idea for tie my hair is to use elastic from my socks that have too many holes 😉 and it won't destroy my hair. Lol! I live in Florida and bought a four pack of bamboo toothbrushes and when I went to replace my toothbrush they were molded! Gotta love that Florida humidity!! So DISCLAIMER if you live somewhere humid do not buy extra bamboo toothbrushes they will get wasted. One at a time is probably best for me in the future... 😭

‘Takes me 15/20 minutes to get out of bed’!!!! Try 2 hours 😱 My mental health is not good and it takes me that long to pluck up the courage to face the day. On days I work I manage to get out quicker but it’s exhausting and by the end of the day I am broken. I do always make my bed but I leave it to air for a while first. Great video 👍👍👍

Have you seen ceramic speakers? It's a fully ceramic item that is shaped so you can put your phone in and it naturally amplifies the sound due to the shape. If you would like a more volume anywhere in your house it's a great zero waste option because it's material is more natural, it won't expire, and doesn't need any power source, plus can be nice décor. Just an option instead of finding the spot in your house with the best acoustics

Thank you! I'm not sure if it was the bars, I give most of the credit to never putting hot tools on my hair anymore! It's been about 3 years since I did. And another huge part goes to using styling/products that are actually made for your hair type. So I don't think it was the bars per-say but the products I do use help a lot! 💛

I wish there was an electric compostable toothbrush. My teeth are weak so when I transitioned to bamboo (which I now use for travel) my teeth suffered drastically and I needed to transition back which breaks my heart. If anyone ever finds recycled plastic electric toothbrushes or an alternative that is electric. Message me or comment!!

There are a few fully recyclable plastic toothbrush heads. Try searching for Brushd and livecoco. For me, my dental health is a non-negotiable. I think that preventing teeth problems will ultimately cause less waste because any medical procedures/dental treatment at a surgery would ultimately cause more waste than my owning and using an electric toothbrush. Plus most people already have an electric toothbrush before starting a low waste lifestyle so it makes sense to continue using them.

Hi, i 'm just wondering if you find any difficulties melting down the bar of soap. Do you mix it with water? Because, I was kind of curious and wanted to try it out, but the soap would'tn melt down. Any tips and tricks? thnx
@SedonaChristina
@SedonaChristina 4 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the glycerine soap tin I made? When I did it, it didn’t fully melt. How o did it, was I added pieces of the bar to a small glass ramikan dish. And then I put that dish into a pot with a small bit of boiling water (so the soap isn’t directly in the pot. It’s almost double boiled). It doesn’t fully melt but it gets warm and easy to mold/push into the tin 💛

You should try this new brand Intune! You can find them on Instagram, and all their products are cruelty free, non-toxic, and organic! Two sisters started it, and it is awesome!!!!

Where do you buy the stuff you use for your brows? Can you just buy this type of soap in the regular supermarket? I've never come across it ;)
@SedonaChristina
@SedonaChristina 4 жыл бұрын
I buy mine by the soap bars in the grocery store. The soap maker I have near me is “Sappo Hill” and I bought it at Fred Meyer. I’ve also seen them at Whole Foods and QFC if you have either of those. And it’s just plain/unscented. But any glycerine soap bar will work! Wherever you buy bars of soap, look for ones that use “vegetable glycerine” as one of the main ingredients. Glycerine soaps are a very popular/traditional formulation, so I’m sure there is some somewhere near you! Just make sure it’s vegetable glycerine (as opposed to animal derived... but I don’t think that’s as popular of an ingredient these days). Hope that helps! 💛

@@SedonaChristina Thank you so much for your answer! I will definitly check for vegetable based glycerine next time I go shopping. Do you think this "eye-brow gel" is waterproof? Or do you have any tips to make it waterproof? :)

I love your videos! I'm not living a low waste lifestyle but you have definitely inspired me to make more conscious decisions while shopping! I have a legit question! I know you've gotten all your furniture and decor second hand which is great! But are you worried about having ghosts/spirits enter your home? I've heard they can attach to objects. Have you had any experiences? Or do you not believe in that? That is seriously stopping me from buying furniture second hand at goodwill or estate sales. What's your take on this? I would love to know! Love you!

I buy used items and second hand all the time and never had issues. Except once with a pair of shoes, that seemed haunted lol bc everytime I would wear them I had bad luck. arguments, etc I threw them away

I know you mentioned before about being careful where you buy stuff because they may not he ethical with their business and may be just sticking there logo on an item on like Amazon, BUT I looked through the Earthhero website while listening to you but the stuff is way too expensive for me to buy even with the discount. So for the time being I'll only he able to get thr stuff I need to be less waste from like Amazon and retail.

When switching to vegan and low/zero waste products, what do you do with the products that are not? Do you use the old products until you run out and then replace with the more sustainable products and companies? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yes, it is HIGHLY encouraged to use up the other things you have first. It's less wasteful to use the product completely than it is to just throw away a useable product to get the zero waste option. This also gives you time to look at reviews, search for and possibly save for the best zero waste option.
