I bought this unit second hand of facebook marketplace, At the same time I also bought a brand new mobility scooter off eBay for My Disabled Mum.
This unit is an Active Scooters A30 and breaks down into multiple pieces to fit into the boot or back seat of the car. It breaks down to the seat, Battery, Rear axle, Basket and front Axle / foot rest with the handle bars folding down. I was able to fit it in the boot of a Nissan Tiida Comfortably.
Since I bought the new unit for My Disabled Mum, This one has since essentially become a “Toy” for my self or a spare.
Over the past week of having both Travel Mobility Scooters, It’s been nice to be able to get mum out of the house each afternoon with Me to take Our Mastiff Dog for a walk.
Even though I’m fully able and can walk, It’s nice to just be able to clip the dogs leash to the handlebars of it. Then both just scoot along around the path at the park giving the dog a good walk, While just cruising and chatting to Mum at her pace rather then leaving her at home alone.
