www.vladtv.com - Singer Mya sat down with VladTV to discuss new projects, her popularity in Japan, and giving the people what they want.
She spoke on releasing a series of EPs throughout 2014, including her recent release "Sweet 16," to celebrate 16 years since the drop of her debut album. She also said that while technology has changed how labels and artists relate to one another, she feels the priority should still be making great music and giving fans what they want.
The singer also got into how she unintentionally built a great fan base in Japan after her album leaked there before hitting the U.S.

Okay, so Mya allegedly had sex with a lot of men in the entertainment industry. Who the fuck cares? If a dude like Usher ran through a bunch of famous chicks in the industry, everybody would be giving him props. Can us women have an active sex life without being judged? Goddamn! Another thing, Mya is a legendary R&B singer. She may not have as much of a buzz as she did when she first came out, but she's alive and well, and still making good music. Btw, I loved her acting in that episode of Law & Order.

Mia Honeyrose these hoe posts on mya videos are really annoying and its coming from these no good sexist men. mya is making her money and she gives back to her community participating in many charity organizations around the world including her own dance school in DC for children. ask any of these men who spend time calling her a hoe how much money they have put in to make a difference in the world. mya is a stunning woman with a body to die for, multi- talented, and well spoken. of course, shes going to get a bad rep.

What gets me is when people sitting on their ass behind the computer loves to talk shit about someone else who is out in the filed working their ass off. Mya is still getting her money, and fame! Hell the American market is corrupt anyways and people love to LEAK shit and not even buy albums, cheap asses. So she is doing the right thing by approaching other Markets. The world doesn't revolve around America people, we aren't the only people who listen to music.

I remember Liberation leaking I was such a huge Mya fan, I purchased a Japanese iTunes gift card and actually BOUGHT the album, lmao so she made revenue off me even off an unauthorized leak Liberation was a great R&B album though I wish her many blessings. Miles Davis for instance, went to briefly live and perform in Paris in the 50’s and appreciated the love he received there so much he became depressed when he came back to NYC.

See at 0:17 she says she released "sugar and spice " 1 territory in japan = She didnt say she released "liberation" liberation was the album Motown records refused to release because it was never commercially ready 4 release .so liberation never happened under motown and mya left motown in 2007 and kept the 1.2 million dollar advance and she released "sugar and spice in Japan on her own .Keep in mind that mya maintains that her album liberation leaked in JAPAN but motown records has denied that there was ever an album leak .i/e. Is Mya lying ? Because her facts are not accurate.the real mike wilson

She took a 1 million dollar advance from motown records and DID NOT GIVE ANY MUSIC THAT MOTOWN THOUGHT WAS COMMERCIALLY SOUND FOR RELEASE-IN 3 YEARS 2005 2006 2007 . SHE NEVER RELEASED AN LP with motown but asked for additional advance money - they split ways with mya- but mya kept the advance $ and then claimed that motown had leaked her album - you cant make this stuff up , these stories mya tells.. Her own label is just 4 her theres never been a single other artist signed to her " label"... The Real Mike Wilson(no major label would dare sign her after what she did to motown records
