The situation is getting worse day by day here and at least hundreds of people are dead and arrested daily due to military’s shoot out. Some policemen fleet out to the Indian state of Mizoram because they don’t want to work with military anymore and the Indian government allow them to stay there. China is indirectly supporting the military but India is a great neighborhood unlike China. Keep supporting us.

Many congratulations to you Dhruv for bringing out this video in such a beautiful format. The recent happenings in Myanmar do show that democracy is very fragile. I do not think that any kind of military intervention would be feasible as it would mean breaching the sovereignty of Myanmar. Also, it seems as if there are many nations which are supporting the military as well. Such a support could be due to various geo-political, economic, political, and strategic reasons. Even we have refrained from openly condemning the military coup, although we have condemned the shootings and violent means adopted by the military to suppress peaceful protests in Myanmar. I believe that only a revolution can now save Myanmar and help in bringing back democracy. Civil disobedience is the way forward. Your idea that citizens should halt working which will freeze the economy of the state is good in theory, but might be really challenging to implement unless there is an unbelievably strong fire that is burning people to seek freedom. Such levels of cooperation can only exist if you are truly one with everyone, and if you do not think that you will lose something by sharing it with your fellow citizens. They should also look at other sources of revenue of the military junta which they could potentially stop so as to financially squeeze the dictatorial government. However, whatever be the case, the fight is surely not going to be easy. The people of Myanmar need to be resilient. Also, we do not know how appropriate would applying economic sanctions on Myanmar be. This is because before the military junta faces the music for the crimes that it has committed, people would be facing the brunt of job losses and economic hardships. Such steps then might lead the people of Myanmar to develop a feeling of fascism in order to protect their livelihoods and put themselves in a state of financial stability. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

The more I see how foreign nations are falling, the more I am thankful to Dr Ambedkar for writing such a wonderful constitution. Sadly BJP is ripping it apart little by little.
